Broke a glass shelf
At approximately 1 a.m. last Monday, I tried to be the "good wife" and make some Crystal Light for my diabetic husband, who had gone to bed early as he was not feeling well. As I went to place the pitcher in the frig, I knocked over another pitcher of red juice and a bowl of fruit, also with red juice, spilling it all over the floor. Cleaned it up, but still noticed red juice under the trim of the glass crisper shelf. Decided to take the shelf out and wash it in the sink which required taking out the crisper drawer...which required moving all the stuff off that glass shelf too When I did so, I put 2 cans of tea on the counter and accidently hit a can with the shelf; knocked the can off and it hit just right to start spewing iced tea all over the floor in addition to the red juice I had just cleaned up! In my effort to compensate for hitting the can, I struck the shelf on the edge of the sink, shattering the glass into a bazillion pieces! It was made of safety glass, fortunately, but not wanting to take any chances, decided to wet mop the floor after sweeping up the glass and removing the thousands of pieces from the dual sinks. By the time I got all of this done, it was nearly 4 a.m.! I got online, found this website and was able to locate the proper parts with the help of the excellent staff available online and by phone. I ordered the shelf, along with 3 other pieces I thought I might need; the box came in 2 days! I fixed the refrigerator in less than 15 minutes, which included opening and disposing of the box and sent back two pieces of trim I discovered I did not need. I also got a replacement drawer for the bottom shelf which had been broken for a couple of years. The staff helped me with the returns, and not only have I returned them, I have already received notification and credit to my account! These folks are excellent! Thanks for helping this poor old woman in distress, and I hope the staff, and all of you reading this, have a very Merry CHRISTmas and a wonderful 2010! ?

Replacing original "crisper" drawers
First of all, I both called and e-mailed PartSelect, to praise them for my overall experience. It's a 17+ year-old refrigerator, they had the parts in stock, I ordered them, and received them the next day; less than 24 hours later. WOW! The install was a bit tricky, just trying to get the old drawer fronts removed, to put onto the new drawers. I was careful to not manhandle them too much, so as not to break them. They were just kind of gunked up with debris, from the many years of use. I used the screwdriver blade to gently pry the drawer front loose, from the old drawer. Once loose, the reinstall was really quite simple. Thanx!

Broken drawers were getting difficult to open
We ordered the wrong parts, thinking front storage includes the drawers also. But when we received the shipment we found just the front storage pan. I called up Partselect.com and explained what I needed, they were very helpful and took the correct part order and refunded my old order. The shipment of drawers came in after 3 days and we installed them with our old front storage pans in less than fifteen minutes. There service was wonderful and they were prompt and professional.

Side of drawer broke/chippped - hard to open.
I didn't know the front of the drawer could come off so it was pretty gunked up with dried meat juices that had leaked. The fit was very tight. I had to really work the putty knife to get it between the front and the drawer at the bottom where the catch is. I was afraid I would break or chip the front before I got it off but it handled the pressure pretty well. Had to use some force though. Once I cleaned the front it slid right down and snapped into place.
