FFTR2126LS9 Frigidaire Refrigerator - Instructions

Very Easy repair just needed a Phillips Head screwdriver. Unscrew two screws and slid the new handle in place and screwed it in.

When you purchase the part, it comes with two handles. One assumes that one is for the main part and the other is for the freezer. Actually, they are both the exact same size. Although the handle is not an exact match to the original it's close enough for a spare, garage fridge.

After reading some reviews there were complaints about having to buy two handles and other complaints about the handle breaking more than once so I'm just holding onto the second handle as a spare.

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade! Heck, I'm grateful to have my garage Frigidaire! Our <5 year old kitchen GE broke in May and we have been unable to get a suitable replacement. I am writing this on October 27, 2020.

i live in Manhattan and it is so difficult to go and find a repair store that has the things you need for the specific model number. i went online and found partselect.com they had a very nice and easy search engine and gave me all the parts that goes with my fridge i just gave them my model number. i placed my order and got it 2 days after.. the shipment fee was 6 dollar i saved the taxi money going and coming i might have had even had to go to multiple store before i can find my part.

well, the retainer broke off, so I waited for the new part to come, and when it came, all I had to do was put it on. putting it on took like a second. there were two hooks that the shelf hooked on, so it was really easy.

Snapped new one in.

My upper and bottom air diffuser was missing.
Purchased both air diffuser and placed it.

Removed 2 screws and broken part of handle. Set handle into screw holder on door, and fastened the top of handle with the 2 removed screws.

Disconnect the power. To install the Defrost timer which is located inside the console at the top of the fridge I followed a YouTube video. It is very easy. Keep in mind that the Defrost timer comes settled in defrost mode so the compressor will not start after the power is reconnected.There is a hole in the console just behind the Defrost timer where you engaged it with a flat driver and rotate the clock until the compresor start. Now the compressor works for 6 hours and stop for 20 minutes for the defrosting cicle. The freezer now is freezing the meat!!

just pull the old off and put the new one on the magnetic strip inside the rubber was the key it just grabbed the area real easy.

Slid it in place. Waiting patiently for lower shelf that holds vegetable bins. We have duct taped the broken one together and it is holding for now. We would like an update on expected delivery date.

There is no way to complete the repair with the wrong part, You have had my order since June 22nd, 2020 and the incorrect part arrived October 27th, 2020. You charged $7.79 plus $1.06 tax and $9.95 shipping. Please refund the entire amount including the shipping, since I did not ask you to ship the incorrect amount.

Easy shelf removal and replacement, just slide in place.

Door bins were easy to hook and snap into place.

Handle has a hook on one end and just two screws to secure at the other end.

I simply removed the old broken shelf and clipped in the new one. Not a major project however the company went above and beyond due to a problem with the delivery of the part. I live in an 1,800 unit condo. Packages are delivered to a kiosk for pick up. FedEx showed the package was delivered but I did not receive it. When I called PartSelect to advise of the problem, they immediately refunded me for the part I didn't receive and sent another one which I received in a few days. I found the company to be very reliable and customer friendly. I will use them again should the occasion arise.
