FFHT1514QW4 Frigidaire Refrigerator - Instructions

Ordered a new one and simply slid it into place

Open door and use a screwdriver to remove screws. SAVE the screws because the new handles do not come with screws. Rotate broken handle to the left and slide the handle to the left which should slide the handle off of the screw protruding from fridge door. To install new handle, repeat this process in reverse. Rotate new handle up and screw onto fridge door.

Easy replacement, I did add some glue to improve hold. The new handle design was a little different and did not match freezer door so I had to change both. I guess that's why they sell as pair.

It was easy to remove the broken handle and install the new on. Only thing needed was a screw driver.

The repair itself total time was quick and easy. Since the original fan blade blew apart, it was only a matter of putting the new one on in it's place. This can be done by feeding the blade between the cowling and Condenser coil and applying pressure to get it on the shaft.

If your fan is still on the shaft, simply push it off and extract it the same way. Then place the new one on the shaft.

In my case, since the part would take a couple days to get, and I had food both in the fridge and the freezer, I removed and unplugged the Condenser Fan Motor and the cowling frame and temporarily spliced a small fan I had into the line for the condenser motor. This kept the fridge working long enough to get the replacement part.

Side note. Direction of airflow is towards the Compressor, and draws air across the Condenser coils.

It just snaps in place, no biggie. What was a big deal was... that I ordered the part one day at like 2pm and got it the next day by about 2pm. That was very strange!!! Never expected that sort of delivery. Very nice!

two screws out, two screws in.

The repair was not the issue. When I received it there was no protection packing, no invoice and if you call the number, no one is there to help. The rack was plastic with no protection in box and it was damaged. Tried to resolve this matter with no response. Will never go through part select again.

Easy to install. It is self explanatory. You do not even need a manual or video explanation.

The repair was very easy to do. All I did was slip the bottom part of the new handle over the Phillips screw on the refrigerator door. Then I put the top part of the handle in place on the top of the refrigerator door. I put the 2 Phillip screws back in the top part of the handle with a Phillips screw driver.

It took less than 15 minutes to replace the old cracked handle with a new one. In the future if I need anymore parts, I will be ordering from your company again. I am happy with my order and the great service I got from the staff at Part Select. Thank you, Sandy McClaflin

I removed the framing shelf from the bottom of refrigerator. I took the glass shelf from box. I place the shelf within the groves in the framing of shelf. Slide shelf with glass attached back in refrigerator.

took out all items off the shelves from frig - followed the instructions on Steve's video
installed 2 new racks replaced all items on the shelves everything worked fine

Snaps right into place, easy as can be.

The part i recieved, from parts select was a larger in circumfrence (<1/4) than the original. However i was not aware of this until after i treid to repair it.

I removed the broken fan from the condenser. This was very sipmle.

When i pluged the refridgerator back in to the outlet the fan tried to start up but soon began to make aloud noise, due to there not being enough clerance.

removed freezer door and installed the new one. This was a pretty easy thing to do, although putting the old handle on the new door was a challenge. No knowing that there is a plastic piece holding the top of the handle i broke the that piece and had to order another one. Mean while the freezer was making alot of frost inside, so that had to be cleaned after the new part came.
