FGHI2164QP0 Frigidaire Refrigerator - Instructions

new drawer was received within 2 days and was extremely simple to install.

Very easy slid the new frame in loader the drawers.

Had to replace both sides tracks; the plastic is thin and gets alot of use. Had these done in minutes, one screw out on each side allows the tracks to be removed.
Best part of the repair is the new clean shelves and drawers. How can you do this repair without cleaning everything?

The first order arrived in a huge box and there was no scew to be found, the box had wholes in it. I was given a refund and told to order again.



The repair did not happen and the set screw which was actually recieved the second time was returned because it was the wrong size.

Ordered the parts (slightly confusing as to which parts i needed since both the track and the spport rail had the same number) and after that arrived it took longer to empty the shelves than to install the parts, one screw on each side ( don't lose the screws because they do not come with the parts) to remove and replace. very easy and very quick.

Pulled unit away from wall and shut off water and unplugged unit. Installed water valve and reassembled, plugged back in and turned on water and checked for leaks. All good. However there is no water getting into the ice maker. The unit itself is going thru a cycle of attempting to make ice and the bail is moving and you can hear the solenoid activate but no water. I have tried to blow thru the tube going to the maker but it seems to be plugged by something. I do not know if there is another valve up there or how to clean it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

was very easy. just ordered a new ice maker which was delivered in a few days. The installation was so simple. Just plugged the new ice maker in and hung the unit on the 2 screws. And then tightened the screws with a 1/4 in nut driver.

first i order a defrost termostate i replace it but wasnt the problem then i
unpluged the evaporator fan motor and test it and was not working order
a new one and working like new.

Emptying the shelves took longer that unscrewing old part and replacing with new part. Works perfect!

Remove everything from shelf drawer is under. Remove everything in drawer. Remove the drawer itself. Remove the shelf the drawer slides underneath of by lifting front of shelf until legs unhook, then wiggle or gently pull until it releases from pieces legs hook into (each leg has one hook). Shelf should pull out with rails and legs attached. Remove screw with philips head screwdriver. I used a Stanley brand nut driver with philips and flathead bits included, $5 at Wal-Mart. Remove the screw holding the rail and leg together. Remove rail and replace with like part. Install screw. Hang shelf. Install drawer. Put all yer stuff back on shelf and in drawer. $50 cause step-son's kids like to pull out drawer and hang on it, go figure. Very simple fix. Do not lose screw! I put all my parts (drawer, shelf, rails, screw) on my kitchen counter. Mate your rail by aligning flat side of rail to inside flat surface of leg. Takes about five minutes.
