inside the freezer compartment, remove four hex head screws from rear panel,lift panel forward and unplug wire assembly from panel. find old defrost thermostat attached to copper tube by clip on back of thermostat, unclip, snip two wires to thermostat, take new thermostat, strip 1/4"of wire from wires in freezer (thermostat is prestripped),insert light blue wire from thermostat and light blue wire from freezer into opposite ends of crimp connector and crimp securely. repeat with dark blue wires. set panel back in freezer,connect plug to back of panel, refasten screws and you are go to go! save yourself the price of a new refrigerator or $300 repair by repairman!

took the old one off and snapped the new one in place. Very easy to do.

The repair was very easy to do. All I did was slip the bottom part of the new handle over the Phillips screw on the refrigerator door. Then I put the top part of the handle in place on the top of the refrigerator door. I put the 2 Phillip screws back in the top part of the handle with a Phillips screw driver.

It took less than 15 minutes to replace the old cracked handle with a new one. In the future if I need anymore parts, I will be ordering from your company again. I am happy with my order and the great service I got from the staff at Part Select. Thank you, Sandy McClaflin

There is no way to complete the repair with the wrong part, You have had my order since June 22nd, 2020 and the incorrect part arrived October 27th, 2020. You charged $7.79 plus $1.06 tax and $9.95 shipping. Please refund the entire amount including the shipping, since I did not ask you to ship the incorrect amount.

Ordered the part. When it arrived (extremely fast delivery), took the old part off and put the new part in. Perfect fit. Took less than one minute to exchange the old with the new.

I used Gorilla glue to replace the handle at the screws-pressed hard and left to dry. The replacement handle (s),( had to buy two-guess the manufacturerer expects the other one to crack too!) are hanging in the garage until the glue releases, if it does. NEVER had a refrigerator handle crack before and I am 81 yrs old. Product made to be defective as this is the second repair I've had to have on this refrig., other one a just under 1 year and concerned the freezer dripping water. The refrig is within 2 yrs. Yikes!

removed freezer door and installed the new one. This was a pretty easy thing to do, although putting the old handle on the new door was a challenge. No knowing that there is a plastic piece holding the top of the handle i broke the that piece and had to order another one. Mean while the freezer was making alot of frost inside, so that had to be cleaned after the new part came.

Ordered two replacement shelves which were easily installed. We'll see how long they last.

The part fit perfectly. I simply placed the ends on the holes on the side wall inside the refrigerator, and the other end of the shelf slipped right into the matching holes on the other side. That easy!

I pulled off the old seal. I pushed the new seal into the track around the freezer door.
Very easy. No tools needed.

Remove items on shelf, in crisper drawers and clean all items including the refrigerator bottom before replacing with new part! Looks like a new refrigerator inside now ????

I (female) fixed it by just inserting the brackets. Easy as pie. I was so happy that they fit.
