Refrigerator was not cooling
This was a simple job. Raised the flap in the back that houses the compressor, removed the wire that holds the relay, pulled out the old relay and pushed the new one on. Replaced wire holder and that was it. Plugged it frig and freezer is at zero and lower compartment at 35. As easy as brushing your teeth!

Original gate broke at the swivel point
I removed the old gate by using a flat head screw driver to pry open mouth. I then removed 2 bolts that held on the cage that hols the ice crushing blades. Then I inserted the new gate and used a screw driver to pry the mouth open again (it was more difficult to insert than remove). I then popped in the new gate and re-assembled the cage. It worked on the first shot with no problems!
This is the 3rd time I have attemped and successfully repaired major home appliances myself after the warrenty ran out. I'm sure I could buy a new appliance for the money I saved.

Refrigerator quit running
I located the part that was the culprit as it had buzzed very much before quitting. This is an easy removal as the part is in a two prong jack and just needs to be carefully removed with the new part inserted back in the jack provided. The refrigerator works fine now, but the run capacitor will still buzz on start up of the compressor. I do hope this is normal in this model? anyway it runs fine mow. Thank you.

Fridge side warm. Freezer was ok.
Popped off the front plastic cover on the bottom of the fridge, under the doors. Two screws held the defrost timer on under the front side of fridge (below freezer door). You can't really see the timer except for the adjustment knob that is accessible through a hole. Once the screws are removed, disconnect the wire plug and remove and replaced unit. Works fine ever since.

Replace protection cover. No more leak.

door handle broke off of door
door handle off but 2 screws top and bottom of handle that attach to door remained under top and bottom molding. had to remove molding which was tricky. Held onto door with plastic clips which several broke when trying to get molding off. Figured out I had to tap top molding up to remove. unscrewed pieces of door handle and attached new handle. Had to use contact cement to secure molding to door where clips had broken.

Broken door handle
I removed the cover from the handle by sliding the top one up and the bottom one down (as opposed to snapping it off). Then I removed the screws that held the old handle in place, put the new one in place and screwed it down.

Storage drawers and lower track had cracked lip
It was a dark and stormy night.....
Husband: AArrgghhh - we need a new refrigerator !!
WIfe: Nope, we just need to fix this one, and I know just how to do it. (partselect.com)
Husband: (of little faith) Fine, miss smartypants, go for it...
0) Wife orders correct parts from partselect.com and they arrive 3 days later.
1) Wife manually removed the two old drawers and the Cover-storage pan (has drawer guides)
2) Wife attempts (unsuccessfully) to remove glass frontpiece from old drawer to put on new one.
3) Husband: "Lemme see that ...
4) WIfer (reluctantly): ...uh.. OK...
5) Husband puts drawer on counter and whacks it with his fist after disloging the front panel with a butter knife.
5) Wife (amazed) wow-nothing broke!
6) Husband repeats process and breaks the second front panel
7) WIfe (silently) Oh darn and shoot
8) Husband (verbally) *&%#!!!
9) WIfe (brightly) That's OK - I can glue it. No Problemo!!
10) WIfe (silently) *&%!!
11) Wife assembles old front panel onto first storage drawer
12) Wife cheerfully glues old front panel #2, prays, then assembles it onto second storage drawer.
13) Wife puts cover-storage-pan in refrigerator and slides top drawer in, noticing more friction and more play than ususal.
14) Wife notices that wheels are not included in the cover-storage-pan
15) Husband: Now we are S.O.L. for sure. We need to buy a new refrigerator.
16) Wife (OK, smugly) repairs herself to the storage shed, where she has cleverly kept the old part, which still has the wheels on it.
17) Wife removes wheels from old part and installs them onto new part without breaking anything.
18) Wife installs both drawers and is inspired to clean out the newly restored refigerator.
19) Husband (amazed) admits that family does not need to buy a new refrigerator after all
20) Teenage daughter emerging from her room in a daze, "Hey, is that a new refrigerator?"
21) Wife makes plans to spend remainder of budget that would be used to buy new refrigerator on pearl ring that she has been coveting.
22) AND THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER....

There was a hole in the plastic bin where ice fell through to the freezer.
I removed the screws that held the the ice dispencer from the bin. I than removed three screws from the bottom of the bin. I put the new plastic piece on the end of the spiral piece that
pushes the ice. I inserted the spiral piece back into the hole. I than screwed the ice dispencer
to the bin and re-inserted it back in the refrigerator.
It took me about 5 to 10 minutes. It's really easy!
