old gasket did not seal tight anymore
I laid the gasket outside in the hot sun on and off for a few days to get the folds and wrinkles out. Removed everything from the indide of the door and the trays to remove all weight from the inside door skin. loosend all the screws ( about 30 ) about half way and removed the gasket from the door by pulling the lip out from behind the inner door skin. Installed the new gasket by tucking the lip in behind the door skin and adjusted it square on the door. Then retightend the screws evenly and randomly around the door. DONE, piece of cake, Steve C.

Refrigerator started frosting up and running all the time.I'd defrost it and it would frost up again in about a week. The timer seems to be work so I just guest it mite be the Defrost Thermostat.I removed the duck in the center and back panel in the freezer compartment defrosted it and switched Thermostats and replaced panel and duck, going to lower compartment of the refrigerator. So far it seems to be working a little more time while tell.

Freezer okay, but fridge was warm
Website was great!

The defrost timer was right in front. 2 minutes and a screwdriver and I had it replaced.

To replace the thermostat, I had to take out the back panel, defrost it and then install the new part. the only problem was that the heatshrink tubing they sent was too large. Otherwise, it worked great.

Freezer not freezing food, back wall covered with frost, motor still running.
Based on other problems listed I determined I had a bad thermostat, defrost timer, or defrost heater. Since my refrig is over 14 years old I decided to replace all three components since I don't have testing equipment. As a former aircraft mechanic in the Air Force who did a lot of removal and replacement of components I didn't have any problems. Your videos were very helpful and on point. My refrigerator is now working perfectly. My rational for replacing the three components was it was still cheaper than having a refrigeration person to come out and I received your parts the next day. By the way, the defrost timer is located outside in the bottom left front of the refrigerator while the videos suggested that it was inside under the control panel. Thanks!
