The repair itself total time was quick and easy. Since the original fan blade blew apart, it was only a matter of putting the new one on in it's place. This can be done by feeding the blade between the cowling and Condenser coil and applying pressure to get it on the shaft.

If your fan is still on the shaft, simply push it off and extract it the same way. Then place the new one on the shaft.

In my case, since the part would take a couple days to get, and I had food both in the fridge and the freezer, I removed and unplugged the Condenser Fan Motor and the cowling frame and temporarily spliced a small fan I had into the line for the condenser motor. This kept the fridge working long enough to get the replacement part.

Side note. Direction of airflow is towards the Compressor, and draws air across the Condenser coils.

Removed old water valve w/ screwdriver, cut threads off old hose (as they just plug straight into new valve) & pushed hoses into new water valve. Solved both problems!!!!

The part i recieved, from parts select was a larger in circumfrence (<1/4) than the original. However i was not aware of this until after i treid to repair it.

I removed the broken fan from the condenser. This was very sipmle.

When i pluged the refridgerator back in to the outlet the fan tried to start up but soon began to make aloud noise, due to there not being enough clerance.

Old valve comes out with 2 screws, water lines removed and reinstalled on new valve just as they came off the old valve. Entire job took less than 10 minutes. Very easy replacement.

It was very easy to insert the new shelf door into the refrigerator slots.

Put on new shelf in seconds. What a wonderful way to be able to purchase the perfect part easily through the internet. I ordered the part on Sunday and received it on Tuesday. THANK YOU Parts Select!!! K.F.

There was no repair needed. I broke the glass shelf that inserts to a plastic frame that holds the fruit/veggie drawer on the fridge.

I found the part very easily on the site and ordered it. The part came exactly as described on the Web site.

First I watched the video that provided - extremely helpful - thank you- when the part arrived I removed the drawer and shelf - unscrewed the screw- pushed the slide catches to one side and removed - then I screwed new slide on - pushed to lock in the catches and DONE! New part fit nicely in an instant. Only issue is that it is a white replacement part and ours was clear...not a big deal because this is the bottom drawer so you really don't even notice.

I was able to replace the housing by only removing the front cover, the e-ring and washer and the 3 hex-head screws. I was able to work the old housing around to get the actuator arm off and then get it properly inserted into the new housing. Attach the new housing, IMPORTANT: make sure you get the fixed-blades and spacer assembly in the slot of the housing that holds them in place, replace the e-ring and washer, check that the actuator arm operates the door properly and replace the front cover. The videos can be helpful but these shortcuts will save some time.

1. Using Philips head screwdriver, remove plastic hinge cover on top of refrigerator door.
2. Remove bolts using socket wrench.
3. Lift door from bottom hinge.
4. With Philips head screwdriver remove screw holding bearing in place on bottom of door.
5. Remove old bearing.
6. Install new bearing.
7. Replace fridge door using reverse steps.
8. Enjoy your handi-work.

I received the part and slid it down the molded runner and secured it.

Removed and replace solenoid manifold valve in rear of appliance using inadequate You Tube video. Removed and replaced augur motor after dismantling various housings using a seriously mistaken You Tube video. The latter video informed us that the yoke that screwed on the motor's shaft was a reversed Left Hand thread. It wasn't at all, and we struggled to figure that out. The people that make these videos leave out steps that they thunk are obvious, but aren't at all.

I followed the instructions, my ONLY issue was about the Part 46 the Ice Dispenser Actuator Rod. The front of the arm has flared out grooves and it didn't warn me about making sure the rod is properly aligned thru part 23 Front Plate or else when the ice maker actuates the rod it will not move properly if the grooves are not aligned on each side of the Front panel. I hope you can understand what I mean, if not just look at how the Part 46 rests in Part 23

Can't supply any info that would be helpful. Ordered a " badge" that covered 100% of the scratch and stuck it on. Scratch now covered and problem solved. Thanks for asking.
