The Refrigerator was not cooling properly. At 40-45 degrees milk spoiled

replace broken door handle on refrigerator
The repair was very easy to do. All I did was slip the bottom part of the new handle over the Phillips screw on the refrigerator door. Then I put the top part of the handle in place on the top of the refrigerator door. I put the 2 Phillip screws back in the top part of the handle with a Phillips screw driver.
It took less than 15 minutes to replace the old cracked handle with a new one. In the future if I need anymore parts, I will be ordering from your company again. I am happy with my order and the great service I got from the staff at Part Select. Thank you, Sandy McClaflin

Gasket was oversize and compression spline would not stay in door groove
Required a trip to the hardware store. Online research showed that Gorilla Glue would hold gasket in place and was recommended for that task. Needed to glue each side separately to keep the spline in the groove. Took far longer than it should have!

Old door seal was cracked and didn't seal tight.
Pulled off the old seal and put the new one on. No tools needed. It fit where it was supposed to and seals the door like new now! Thank you!

Old gasket was cracked, dirty, and causing the refrigerator to run overtime.
Easy to peel out old gasket, and new one tucked right in. I was embarrassed that it was so easy and I waited so long. Has made a big difference in how the frig looks and also operates.
Putting the shelf in was a no-brainer. It comes with matching slots and you can't put it in upside down or backwards. Only the right way!

Freezer wasn't cooling - compressor not engaging
Ordered the Capacitor and the Thermostat Control. Parts were received in a matter of a few days, easy to install, but did not fix the problem. Had to call a repairman to fix the problem (compressor relay - this part not available to order for this model number with Parts Select). Will continue to use Parts Select in the future for other parts, but not happy that the actual part I needed was not available - had to use other methods.

freezer cold and frosting up but refrigerator warm
inside the freezer compartment, remove four hex head screws from rear panel,lift panel forward and unplug wire assembly from panel. find old defrost thermostat attached to copper tube by clip on back of thermostat, unclip, snip two wires to thermostat, take new thermostat, strip 1/4"of wire from wires in freezer (thermostat is prestripped),insert light blue wire from thermostat and light blue wire from freezer into opposite ends of crimp connector and crimp securely. repeat with dark blue wires. set panel back in freezer,connect plug to back of panel, refasten screws and you are go to go! save yourself the price of a new refrigerator or $300 repair by repairman!

Door Shelf Retainer Bar need to be replaced
1. Remove from box. 2. Snap into place. (30 sec.) + part arrive 2 days ahead of ETA (Ground Ship)

retainer bar on the door split in the middle, Handle broke and the screws, draw railsnapped
the draw rail: remove upper shelf, unscrew rail. the screw is in the inside of the on the shelf. That's why the top shelf has to come out. door retainer bar lifts straight up fairly easy. upper handle : just remove 2 screws and discard the broken piece. slide handle upward tighten the 2 screws.

RIGHT SIDE SNAPPED OFF
REPLACED BACK SCREW AND SCREWED THE NEW ONE INTO PLACE,REPLACED BOTH SIDES,RIGHT AND LEFT...SUPER EASY.

Freezer froze up/ Fridge ran warm
Thawed out freezer, I recommend laying a couple old towels in freezer to soak up melted ice. Replaced old thermostat with new part. Removed 2 screws, removed back plate, unplugged 2 connectors and cut 2 wires. Crimped in new thermostat and repositioned to original part location. Reconnected plugs as I reinstalled back plate. Installed 2 screws and connected power. Works like new! Trouble shooting and part installation video is very helpful, great site!
