BGHS2644KF0 Frigidaire Refrigerator - Instructions

I ordered the part from PartSelect using the part number located on the valve itself. The part was delivered in less than 48 hours from the time I entered it. Replacing the valve was easy and went according to the online video instructions provided by PartSelect. The only thing extra was that I had to replace the brass compression fitting on the copper tubing connected to the inlet of the valve. The old one would not seal properly. The compression fitting was about $1.50 at Home Depot. This is my third purchase from PartSelect and I continue to be impressed by them.

I used pliers to get the remaining shelf support studs out, then the new ones just snapped right in place. Very easy repair!

Turn off power. Remove ice tray. Back out the two screws with nut driver and just lift ice maker off screws. Do not bend the water fill tube in the back . Now unplug the wire and remove ice maker .
To replace, match the color of wires on plug. Adjust wires in place and water fill tube and back on to the screws. Hold in place and snug screws. Turn power back on. In 4 to 5 hours your ice will start .
FED-EX UT to MN was 13 days to deliver .

Downloaded a schematic of the ice container. Disassembled the ice container, keeping track of which different type of screws went where. Followed the schematic to ensure proper sequence of blades and spacers. Manually rotated unit prior to installing into the freezer in case of binding. Finished.

It was real easy took the lines off one by one put them on the new unit one by one same with the three plugs than tighten new unit back on fridge.

But I have back ground mechanical skills, I did see the video one time, and everything went smooth......

Replaced the bin took less than 5 minutes. Very impressed with the service we got. The part came in 1 day!!

take the broken one out and replace it with the new one. the service was very good, from ordering the part, when it arrived only one day after I ordered it, it was broken in the delivery, I called them and they had another one on the way by the end of the day. Will continually use parts select for my services

While loading up the freezer for holiday company, the bin on the door broke. I went online ordered a new one, got to me in three days. Took it out of the package. Hooked it in..Fixed.

Loosened the 2 bolts 4 turns where it mounts inside the freezer. Lift maker off the bolts unplug 1 plug. Reverse to install.

Had to disassemble the entire ice maker bucket. Simple and straightforward, didn't need any pictures or reference materials. Just time consuming.

You order your door bin by phone to PartSelect and wait. Wait for about 3 1/2 weeks to get a cracked and unusable piece of plastic. Then reorder and wait. Wait for about 2 weeks to get another cracked door bin. Now you decide to use this part or send this one back also. Don't worry, you get charged for shipping only once. I decided to use the second bin. It was not cracked from top to bottom like the first one. I'll see how long it last.

The repair was fast and easy .I removed the ice tray , disconnected the wiring connector and lossend two screws. I removed ice maker assy.and repeated in reverse order to install. I also installed a new water filter. I had ice in about 20 minutes.

Easy to remove the auger Motor and Solenoid, however, it didn't fix the problem. $300.00 into it I now have to purchase a circuit board for $382.00. Not a happy camper.
