Put the end caps on the metal bar and put it on the freezer door and it snapped right in.

Very easy to do in less then 4 minutes to do both shelves.

They were the wrong parts. I read a question another person asked and it advised to order these parts. Didn't want to waste my time anymore and threw them away.

I unsnapped the old clips from the bar, installed one end cap to freezer door, clipped other end cap to bar, slid bar into end cap installed in door then snapped other end cap into place. Repeated for second shelf bar as those end caps were broken as well. No tools were needed.

We took the door off and replaced the pastic washer. Found out that the repair people never informed us that the door itself has a bit damaged so this repair would have to be done over and over. Nice way for them to make money off us.
We were able to fix it so that it will last a LONG time. Sometimes it realy can pay to do-it-yourself!

I want to start by saying that I am female and want to let all females know that we can do home repairs! My story is not just about the repair but the wonderful customer service at PartsSelect.com. I snapped one of the end caps in, put the rack rail into the cap, placed the other cap on the other end, and snapped that end in. Because I received the exact parts needed, the entire repair took about one minute.

For the shelf you have to save the front and back gaurds to put on the new shelf when it arrives. You have to slide the shelf in through the slots and then add the back gaurd. The front guard just pops on after that. The drawer front of the old drawer just slides off and then back on the new drawer, The drawer just slides in after that. No tools needed. Super easy ... super beautiful. Love it!

Unplugged fridge, opened the door, used flat head screwdriver to pop off old switch, unplugged wires, plugged in new switch, popped it back in, and plugged the fridge back in. 2 minute fix.

raised the sides of the drawer front up, then pulled the front straight up. Then put the front in the slots of the new drawer and pushed down. I gave it a light tap on the top corner and it locked into place. I put my food stuffs back in the drawers and slid them back into the refrigerator. Job done in about eight min, for two drawers.

Installed salvaged pan cover edge guards from broken pan cover. I installed new pan cover in grid.

A little research told me the hum plus no cooling was either the compressor or the relay. I ordered the new relay and put it in but it didn't fix the problem. I ended up having to buy a new fridge, but it was worth the $30 gamble to see if I could fix it on the cheap and it saved me the money a service call would've cost. Pretty easy installation, just in a tight space on my model.

Dear Part-select,
I had a fridge that was not working food was melting in the freezer, Beer was warm. You get the picture anyway using your site I found the parts needed to to fix the issue in fact I ordered two parts one fixed the issue 50% and the other like 30% of the time! both parts with overnight shipping were cheaper than 1 part if purchased at our local appliance part outlet:) not to mention the cost of a repair person. Traced issue to defrost timer ( burned compressor & element contacts). This unit is mounted next to the temperature adjustment control in the refridgerator area - right in front. Removal of plastic cover provided easy access to the timer. Unit unscrews from the mounting then unplugs. Installation is reverse of removal.

Ordered a new defroster timer and replace old one. It works just fine. A $35 repair vs a $500 new appliance.
