Freezer frosted up, refrigerator compartment heated up
I removed the housing at the top of the refrigerator compartment that contained the reefer light and temperature adjustment knob. This required a small nut-driver. Inside, I found the old defrost control, unplugged it, unscrewed it with a Phillips screwdriver, and replaced it with the replacement part. Then I replaced the housing to its original position.

I found PartsSelect on the web, input my appliance model# and type and a very easy to read diagram of my appliance appeared. I simply selected the parts I needed from the diagram, and the part numbers were displayed. I placed my order and 2 days later the parts arrived, and I installed them immediately. No fuss, no problem. Poor design resulted in lower crisper drawer breaking on both sides.
Got the new drawer 2 days after I ordered it. Snapped the front off the old drawer and onto the new one, and slid the new drawer in.

the slider broke on the drawer and couldn't move in or out.
front of old drawer needed a little persuasion at coming off, but once I figured out all I needed was a small screw driver to seperate the front from the drawer, it slid right off. Was a simple fix and a lot less than calling service repair.

Drawer was broken.
We moved the refrigerator out so the drawer could be removed. (It was close to the wall) After removing the drawer the front of it had to be removed, then put on to the new drawer. The hardest part was that replacement because we had trouble getting it lifted up. Then the drawer was put in, refilled, and refrigerator moved back into place.
