FRS20ZSFB0 Frigidaire Refrigerator - Instructions

I removed the drawer fronts from the old drawers and slid them onto the new drawers. My fridge is like new again and the repair was a lot less expensive than buying a new one. My drawers arrived the day after I ordered them!!

turned ice maker water off.Removed housing with 1/4" nut driver.disconnected water lines that had quick disconnect.(pushed bottom plastic washer up & popped off.unscrewed old filter cup off with nutdriver. Screwed new one in place,put filter in cup & screwed on,pushed water lines on.put housing back on & turned water on. No leaks & had my ice maker back in working order,also my water on front door.was easier than expected.lady was very helpful when ordering cause I was worried it may not be same one cause was slight difference in appearance.but it matched up to model number & ended fitting just fine,also was shipped very quick,1 day & it was at my door.nice to have ice again,thanks part select.

Unscrewed (loosen) screws lifted unit out unplugged electrical connection. plugged in unit hung on screws tightened screws and had ice in less then 1 hour. Rick

Removed the vent cover at the bottom. Removed the screws. disconected the harnes and put the new timer in. This was a very easy fix. Thank You!

After determining the ice maker was getting water but not harvesting the ice, I ordered a replacement Ice Maker. Installation was easy. One electrical connection and two screws. Following the video to make sure I did not miss any steps I had ice in just a few hours. Just in time for a July heat wave!

Very simple. I removed 2 screw each holding the old drawer support glide and I replaced it with the new support( 3 minutes to replace using old screws )
To replace the drawer I removed the front part of the drawer(just pop out) and I attached to the new drawer(no tools needed).
Now It looks I have a new refrigerator.

Having tried PartSelect.com before, I was very comfortable with the process. Input my symptoms and the feed back I received was that one of the 2 things (Defrost Timer or Defrost Thermostat)might need replacement. Since the cost was not much and over night shipping would cost more than the product, I decided to order both the parts. Changing parts was a breeze. The instructions posted by others on your web site were very easy to follow. You guys save me a bundle every time I have any thing going worng with any of my appliances.

make sure you take the door handle off before reassembling the door ice dispenser.

Occasionally, we'd get one batch of ice cubes and a frozen lake of water in the bottom of the ice tray.

The installation was easy and I won't bother duplicating the comments of others who have installed this part.

One word of caution: The ice maker contains a heating element on the bottom. That element is apparently live even when the ice bar is in the upper (off) position. When I unscrewed the old ice maker and went to lift it off the bolts, I severely burned my finger on the bottom of the old ice maker because apparently I started the repair in the middle of the heating cycle.

I highly recommend that you unplug the ice maker entirely before doing the replacement and gingerly ensure that the unit isn't hot before touching it. You'll save yourself a nasty burn.

I had a fridge that was not working food was melting in the freezer, Beer was warm. You get the picture anyway using your site I found the parts needed to to fix the issue in fact I ordered two parts one fixed the issue 50% and the other like 30% of the time! both parts with overnight shipping were cheaper than 1 part if purchased at our local appliance part outlet:) not to mention the cost of a repair person. I found that the fill solenoid for the ice maker was down to a drip when energized. I ordered from this site and replaced. now plenty of water, but the ice maker would just stall and jump teeth. The heater which heats the ice up to free it from the mold was defective. Ordered from this site, and now working great.this sitet has good pricing, and the help illustration is great, and explains the sequence of events. This made it easy to troubleshoot. This refrigerator has not give a problem in over 11 years. The problem is "the ice maker". I have replaced it 6 times.

Followed on line video. Also water supply tube on fridge was full of ice. You can pull it out and run hot water on it to clear.

Just took it out of the box, wash it and put it on the inside door.

Found the part on this site ordered and received part in 3 days. Took approx. 10 min to replace. Thanks for the quick service.

I loosened the 2 1/4 inch nuts with a nut driver, disconnected the wire harness, and removed the old unit. to replace, I simply connected the harness and bolted the unit back in. The job took about 10 to 15 minutes and the new unit works better than the old one ever did.
