Gasket replacement
The gaskets aren’t really attached, they are just wedged into a small notch the goes around the entire door. So you can just pull the old one off with no tool. The new one arrived looking very bent and twisted but if you heat it with a hair dryer it goes back to its shape. When installing…You start in the corner and work your way around with a butter knife and hair dryer and it eventually sits into the notch. We watched a video on YouTube, it was easy to find a video and easy to do with two people and no tools or experience. Takes a few days for the gasket to feel fully settled into the notch

Freezer leaked, no water disp. & Crusher didnt crush
First I defrosted the entire unit, both sides for 24 hours. Restarted, I now have water dispensing. (It had apparently frozen) Next I took out the ice crushing part and took it apart, (a few screws) by removing the broken floppy piece; the small plastic floppy door that allows ice to crush, replaced this small piece, rather than replacing the entire big plastic piece that I ordered. Used a slot screw driver removed the old floppy piece that was broken and removed the same piece from the new one and switched them out. Reassembled the entire unit (a few screws), put the ice back in and it works great. I got the instructions for taking apart this from this site, however, it was fairly easy to figure out. Just be patient with the plastic parts.

A set scew was ordered twice.
The first order arrived in a huge box and there was no scew to be found, the box had wholes in it. I was given a refund and told to order again.
The repair did not happen and the set screw which was actually recieved the second time was returned because it was the wrong size.

The ice crusher flap was broken.
Took out the ice box, dumped the ice. Let warm up a bit. Then took out the housing and installed the new one. Works great. Saved a lot of money! Only took a couple days to receive the part. Great service.

The ice crusher housing is made of plastic and a piece of it broke off,
Remove 4 screws to get the housing cover off. Remove the lock ring that holds the ice auger in place. REmove 4 screws to get the crusher housing off. Reverse the order to replace the housing. Very simple.
