Auger Not Driving Ice Out The Front
Taking it apart is sort of common sense, however putting it back together can be made a lot easier using todays technology of . Digital photography. Take pictures at each stage of disassembly and reassembly be comes very easy and you may only have to do it once instead of multiple times.

Stop crushing ice.
Crusher housing had broken so I ordered the part and replaced it. I have since put it back together twice. When I first installed it it crushed the ice no problem. From that point on it seems to lock up and won't crush the ice, cube ice works but the blades seems to hang up after the first use. I can turn the cog by hand but I have to turn it backwards a few times before it turns freely, however it still won't crush the ice. I took it apart and put it back together again. Same thing happened after the first time I tried it. Can you help me. The old crusher broke into. Could something else be locking up?Thanks for the help

The drive blade was worn and wouldn't turn the drum
First off make sure you have a good quality Phillips screw driver. When the blade is worn out you can disassemble the ice maker with out removing the front. But to reassemble the front cover must be removed. Do yourself a favor and buy the drum and nut also. I am a mechanic by trade so the tools and repair was really easy. Be careful of the ice crusher BLADES they are very sharp. If your not mechanically inclined take pictures before disassembly, that will help you greatly. Hope this helps someone. Thanks Rory
