FFHI2032TP1 Frigidaire Refrigerator - Instructions

The repair itself total time was quick and easy. Since the original fan blade blew apart, it was only a matter of putting the new one on in it's place. This can be done by feeding the blade between the cowling and Condenser coil and applying pressure to get it on the shaft.

If your fan is still on the shaft, simply push it off and extract it the same way. Then place the new one on the shaft.

In my case, since the part would take a couple days to get, and I had food both in the fridge and the freezer, I removed and unplugged the Condenser Fan Motor and the cowling frame and temporarily spliced a small fan I had into the line for the condenser motor. This kept the fridge working long enough to get the replacement part.

Side note. Direction of airflow is towards the Compressor, and draws air across the Condenser coils.

R&R DOOR SEAL VERY EASY TO INSTALL THANKS TO ALL

I removed the two side mount screws with a screwdriver and disconnected the electrical plug to the ice maker to remove it. I reversed the process to install the new one.

It was the thermostat that was the problem, but I chose to replace the entire ice maker for only $25 more.

removed both the shelf retainer and shelf bin, replace with the new units ordered from partselet.com. the whole process from searching, ordering, shipping and installing was very easy... thanks for everything

I can't believe I put if off so long... so easy to do and PartSelect was very fast, efficient, and the cheapest vendor for my part.

The Pan was a direct swap, as well as the shelf bin. No tools necessary. I'm sure that a repair person would have cost me double what I paid for the same repair.

I took out the plate that covers the evaporator in the freezer with 3/8 nut driver. I removed the clips holding on the fan cover and used the pliers to take the fan off the old motor. I then took the old motor out, affixed the fan to the new motor and replaced the motor and fan assembly. I reassembled the entire fan assembly and reinstalled the evaporator plate

Replacing was to slide the shelf in on their stubs. My comment about the refrigerator shelfs is they are not made to last. You open the door and one end at the opening side would break. I check to see if it was hanging up however it has plenty of room.

Snapped it in shelf in designated slots

Turned off water to inlet valve. Unbolted valve from back of unit, disconnect water supply line from valve, disconnected water line to ice maker. Put on new compression ring around water supply line. Pressed ice maker line into new valve, installed valve back on unit, then connected main supply line to valve. Works like a charm.

well, the retainer broke off, so I waited for the new part to come, and when it came, all I had to do was put it on. putting it on took like a second. there were two hooks that the shelf hooked on, so it was really easy.

Snapped new one in.

i live in Manhattan and it is so difficult to go and find a repair store that has the things you need for the specific model number. i went online and found partselect.com they had a very nice and easy search engine and gave me all the parts that goes with my fridge i just gave them my model number. i placed my order and got it 2 days after.. the shipment fee was 6 dollar i saved the taxi money going and coming i might have had even had to go to multiple store before i can find my part.
