DGHX2355TF0 Frigidaire Refrigerator - Instructions

Downloaded a schematic of the ice container. Disassembled the ice container, keeping track of which different type of screws went where. Followed the schematic to ensure proper sequence of blades and spacers. Manually rotated unit prior to installing into the freezer in case of binding. Finished.

The parts arrived fast, and fit just perfect, they just slide in and snap lock into place. 1 had been broken 2 years ago and I just put off fixing it thinking I would not get the right part, then we broke a seconded one. Took drawers out by removing 2 screws on top of rail near front, then popped black plastic cover off in lower right inside cabinet...sensor just un plugged and new one plugged in easily...did not fix problem though...display set at 34 but bottom drawer reads about 40 at best and upper drawer reads around 55...dont think the 3 little fans inside on back wall have been running

I got the part, hitched it up and it started working right away it fit in easily, and the directions were easy to follow thank you

I was really impressed with how easy it was to navigate through your website and found the exact part I needed. I immediately received my glass shelf it took all of 2 seconds.

The part i recieved, from parts select was a larger in circumfrence (<1/4) than the original. However i was not aware of this until after i treid to repair it.

I removed the broken fan from the condenser. This was very sipmle.

When i pluged the refridgerator back in to the outlet the fan tried to start up but soon began to make aloud noise, due to there not being enough clerance.

It was real easy took the lines off one by one put them on the new unit one by one same with the three plugs than tighten new unit back on fridge.

Put shelf on door, done.

Remove the old ice maker by loosening the screws and disconnect wire harness , next fit new ice maker in place connect wire harness and place new ice maker in place put screws in and tighten.

Changed filters

Remove old filter and replace easy.

I first opened the breaker controlling the outlets by the refrigerator. After verifying there was no power to the refrigerator, I removed the screws holding the trim façade in place and removed it. Next I removed the screws holding the control board in place and removed it from its position and then disconnected the wires connecting it to the ice dispenser module. I then used the diagonal cutters to cut the flex-tie holding the water inlet tube in place. Next I removed the screws holding the ice dispenser module in place and unclipped the water inlet tube from it and removed the whole unit. I then attached the water inlet to the new dispenser, flex-tied it in place and reversed the above stated process. Once completed, I restored power and everything worked well.

Disconnect the two water supply tubes at the base of the Water Filter Base. Using a 7/16" open end wrench, press up on the blue "O" rings to disconnect the tubes. Use a Using an 8" long magnetic phillips head screw driver I was able to unscrew the 4 short screws holding the original water filter base and the immovable attached water filter. Replacement was easy. Simply slide the new base into the fixed slot on the refrigerator and reinstall the 4 holding screws. Reconnect the water supply tubes to the Water Filter Base. Install a new water filter.

Had to disassemble the entire ice maker bucket. Simple and straightforward, didn't need any pictures or reference materials. Just time consuming.

Did not repair, sensor was not located where you said, wrong sensor was sent to me, can't return oe exchange it COSTERMER SERVICE WILL NOT ANSWER MY EMAILS.
