FRS22PRAD0 Frigidaire Refrigerator - Instructions

tested the thermostat, cleaned the coils, checked seals all clean. defrost timer did not cycle so replaced it but issue not resolved. even though freezer was working while refrigerator was problematic, proceeded to open freezer panel. discovered that fan was not pushing cold air into refrigerator compartment due to ice build up in connecting tubes. cleaned ice and replaced panels to positive result

New front is of thinner, brittle plastic. It feels like it will easily break under any kind of pressure. I am afraid to pull it open with the hand grip, so I don't shut it all the way so I can get my fingers inside the drawer and pull from within. So far, it is working, after one week.

The original shelf broke, so I ordered a replacement. It was no work at all to just set it in its place.

Everytime I pulled out my upper storage drawer I risked having the whole thing collapse as the rims of the drawer were broken due to old age. I ordered a part and there was a terrific "how to" installation video that showed exactly what I had to do to transfer the drawer front(still in good condition)from the broken drawer to the new one. The whole process took less that ten minutes. However, be warned: when ordering parts do not assume that the model number you first try is correct if you receive a notice that it is not available---1's and I's and zeros and O's are easily confused. I ordered the wrong-sized part the first time by using the wrong #'s/letters; replacement was quick and easy, but, naturally, I had to pay for return postage. Service from this company is great--almost next day delivery!

Ordered the repair part. Removed the drawer. Removed front of drawer. Placed front on new drawer. Very simple.

Replacement parts fit perfectly. Simply removed the broken frame, place existing glass in new frame, and set frame in back wall mounts, then lower frame to side existing side mounts. Insert new drawer in the new frame. Worked great.

unplugged frig,removed bottom front cover and loosend 2 screws at bottom front left and slid defrost timer out from behind metal panel,unplugged the old and plugged in the new.frig works great.

first I replaced the timer control hoping thats the problem,unfortunately situation the same ice build up on the freezer.so I replaced the defrost thermostat.right now I'll still observing the condition if still the same.may be in couple days.so far its good.and to replace the parts is not difficult and easy.

The replacement of the Drawer Cover support was simple, it snapped in to the existing holes. You had said you did not have a replacement for the crisper drawer cover but the storage drawer cover was identical and I ordered it, and snapped the adjustable vent off of the old crisper onto the new storage drawer cover and all was well. The parts arrived in two days without expedited shipping. I couldn't be happier.

Ordered the new part-Unplugged the refrigerator - took off the cover over the defective timer - put in the new part put the cover back on - plugged the refrigerator back in - so far, so good!~
