Super simplet to fix. Popped out broken light switch and unplugged it and replaced with new switch. Received the part one day after ordering it from your company--AWESOME SERVICE AND TURNAROUND TIME!!! Saved at least $100 plus in repair costs/trip charge for something we were able to do. Great experience and would order from your company again. Thank you!

Used the butter knife to pry the old switch out, it is a snap in switch so there is a small keeper on the bottom that needs to be pushed in to pop the switch out. Un hooked wires by pulling them off of the terminals (won't shock you) and put them on the new switch and popped it in

Remove plastic hinge cover (phillips screwdriver). With door closed, remove ground wire (phillips screwdriver). Remove broken hinge (nut driver). Route wires through split in hinge body. Route wire through new hinge body. Install new hinge (nut driver). Install ground wire. Install plastic cover. Entire job took less than five minutes.

Popped out the old one......plugged in the new one and popped it back into place. My wife was happy in have light again in the fridge!

Initially thought I could repair switch, but then discovered spring was broken. Ordered the new switch (Parts Select is very efficient - received switch in 3 days). Was encouraged by the posts regarding the switch installation. I had some difficulty removing the old switch. Used a pocket knife to ease the switch out of the hole to reveal the clip/spring. After noting the clip/spring location I used a small flat-blade screwdriver to release the clip. Even though I released the "molded" clip/spring(be sure to note where the spring is on the new switch and release it on the switch it was tight in the hole and had to use pliers to carefully remove the old switch. After removing the old switch, used pliers to gently remove the wire leads. Then install the leads on the new switch. Note the orientation for replacing the switch and gently feed the connecting wires into the hole so they won't kink or prevent the switch from entering the hole. Install the switch noting the clip/spring location and the orientation of the lever that the door closes on to turn off the light. Be sure to put it in without binding at an angle. Ordered parts from Parts Select. They were here like overnight!! Unreal. Supports just slipped in. Absolutely easy. This was my first order ever from Part Select but have a feeling it won't be my last. Parts were here so fast I did not know what had arrived until I opened the package as I had not expected them so quickly! very satisfied.

Replaced the drawer

Unplugged appliance. Using a small putty knife I moved the switch out far enough to grab it with pliers. Moved wiring to new switch and pushed into place after testing.

I opened the refrigerator door and removed the cracked crisper pan. Removed the vegetables and placed them in the new crisper and returned it to the refrigerator. Installation was less than 1 minute!

Changed bulb, not the problem, had to remove switch to identify correct choice to order (3 pronged verus 2) after that it was easy beyond having to stand on my head to make the exchange. (N B before removing old switch it actually came back to life)

This was an easy fix. Just pull off the old gasket and press the new gasket in place.

unplug refrigerator, take backing off with nut driver. Pull old blade off and put new blade on. Put backing back on and plug in.

Finally got the right part (two tries - had to call and get the right one, parts catalog for model showed different kick plate)

Thanks to some reviews we found online about replacing gaskets, ours went very smoothly. One person said to soak the gasket in hot water, which we did til it was very soft. Installed like a breeze. Then, the same person said to tape the door closed after installation, we did that too. The gasket looks like it was professionally installed and we have never done it before. Thanks!

I watched the on line you tube video on how to DIY. The putty knife worked to pop out the switch. I used the standar screwdriver to unplug the switch from the wire harness. Then plug in the new switch and pop it back in to the roof of the freezer. Tip: watch out when ordering the new switch - the freezer switch is different than the refrigerator switch. The freezer has three prongs. The fridge has two. I initially ordered the wrong part and added a week to the repair time and had to pay shipping to return the first switch.
