Screwed in light bulb and glass protector

Used a screwdriver to pry loose the old switch, swapped wires to the new switch and pushed it into the opening. Took about 2 minutes.

After disconnecting the electricity. I followed the instructions as indicated in the "HOW TO" article on the website. I used a steel putty knife and pried the light switch out of its retaining hole. I worked the right side the most since this is the side with the retaining clip. After I removed the switch I transferred the two electrical outlets to the new switch and easily snapped it into place. Engaged the electric power and tested the switch.

disconnected el. power to fridge. pried out broken switch with small screwdriner and pulled out w/water pump pliers. installed new switch and pressed into opening.

I noticed that the refrigerator was having trouble maintaining temperature. Thought it might be time for new one until I found out that a new frig was $5k to $7K. Just happened to notice that the light switch didn't look quite right (was not sitting sqaure to the door). Once I pressed it it came loose. I then realized the the lights were staying on (50 watts of heating). Replaced the switch and the frig started working like new.

Extremely fast shipping. Ordered in the aftertoon, had item in hand the next morning. Easy installation, even for the mechanically challenged like me.

One suggestion though, when asking for a review, you should incorporate the Model Number within the email. I work on obtaining reviews for my company, and I have found that the more work involved to write a review, the less likely people are to do so. Just a suggestion.

I used the original connector from the spent thermostat and waterproofed the connection with a 16g wire nut and electric tape. Works great! In hindsight I would have ordered the part earlier as this is a typical solution to a freezer frosting over. Manual defrost is a pain!

A staff member at the group homes installed the handles with no problems at all, other than the original screws were quite well seated, and took some time to remove them. The replacement was easy and faultless.

The only problem was that we received Freezer Door handles instead of Refrigerator Door handles. But it's all good - the freezer handles were looking a bit shabby anyway.

A very cold and brittle switch in a 17 year old fridge. Used screwdrivers to pry out with some resistance Had to cut the molded plug in half and split wires, because replacement contacts were farther apart than the original. End result, works great.

First removed the screws holding the broken handle in place, then placed the new handle in position and attached with the new screws. The part arrived the day following online ordering - very quickly!

Remove trays and front drawer (2 screws, probably optional, but but easier to work with it removed). Remove the icemaker (2 screws), disconnect icemaker electrical connection. Remove back panel (bunch of screws). Once there, I heated up the coil to remove all the ice so I could get to the thermostat (it had become very clogged from not being defrosted). Remove and replace the thermostat, then put everything back. Now works perfectly.

From your website I heard how easy this would be, and it was! Three screws a little cleanup of the area and done! Thanks for everything.

Removed 3 screws and removed broken handle. Installed new handle and replaced screws. The repair was very simple.

Took the old one off and put the new one on. Took
much longer to order and pay for the part than it did to repair the door. Everything went just like it was supposed to go and I thank you for your assistance in this matter, but I really don't have time to write stories about my refridgerator door. Sincerely, Roy Casteel
