The original unit burned through and would not work, of course .
After unpacking and checking the unit that was mailed to me, I cleaned the ends of both the connections in the oven and the connections on the part, then plugged them together and screwed the plates in place in the oven. The oven worked immediately and still is working very efficiently. I had no problems at all with the installation.

Element burnt out
I killed the circuit breaker to the oven, then double checked with an electrical tester. I removed the oven door for easy access, unscrewed the element bracket screws, plugged in the new element and then I reversed the steps above.

I am very happy with PartSelect and will use them in the future for all my appliance parts needs.

One of the knobs on our stove broke apart from years of use.
Dean was very helpful. He looked through the numerous model numbers and found just the correct knob even though the model number was no longer in use. I'll be calling back with another repair problem soon. Thank you very much.

Old Bake element gave little heat
The part came as promised & and it was exactly the right part! I turned off the breaker to the oven (the oven has a clock and timer on it too). Unscrewed the 2 screws with a Phillips screw-driver and carefully removed the old part - being very careful to be safe and not make a big mess. It was easy to disconnect the wires and get the old element out. Then connected the wires to the new element, placed into position, screwed in the 2 screws, and turned on the breaker. It worked great. Then set the clock because it was 13 minutes slow!
