Igniter failed to light oven
Installing new igniter was very easy. The problem I had was removing the screws. The range is 18 yrs old. The screws were stuck from yrs of use. Especially in the oven cover plate. I used w- d 40 it didn't work. I decided to take a 2" putty knife and push it under the screw head to release it and it worked. They came right out. The igniter screws were also difficult to get out. Once those were removed, I pulled the stove out, turned off the gas and the electrical plug, removed back plate unplugged the old igniter and connected the new one. Easy, peasy. Turned gas on etc. Tested the oven to be sure it worked. Turned oven off. Then put it all back the way it was. Done! The igniter install was simple and qiuck. The time problem was the screws.

Igniter failed (open circuit). Without the igniter properly working, the control board would not open the gas balance.
Removed the lower base pan of the oven by unscrewing two phillips head screws. I then had access to the old igniter and removed that by removing the mounting screws (2 Phillips head screws). Continuity test revealed an open circuit. I simply replaced the old part with the new part, reversed the process and the oven was ready for use in less than 10 minutes.

Old glass support rusty in one spot.
I took the door off and removed five phillip screws from the old bottom support and removed it. I took the opportunity to clean the glass on the front and back before placing it back on. It simply fits into two keepers at top and is held on by the new support at the bottom. I replaced the five screws and put the door back on. It is a simple job that only takes a few minutes.

My igniter burnt out. My oven stopped lighting up.
I ordered a new igniter and when it arrived, i removed the door from the oven. It just lift's off. I had to removed two screws from the bottom plate to gain access to the igniter. Remove the two screws from the igniter and unplug it from the back of the lower back of the stove. Place the new igniter where the old one was and plug it in. Put new screws in and tighten them down. Put the bottom plate back in its place with screws tightened. Put oven door back on and turn on the oven. That's all there is to it. Your done.

replace inner glass Jenn air range
Hired a pro. Parts are difficult to get on a timely basis today , if at all. Screw up this repair by damaging the outer " black glass " and you buy a new stove. It took three weeks to get my replacement glass even though PS said the part was being sent within a day of the order. Even so , I am am happy to have gotten it , and will continue to use the company.

Had an F2 message go off then F3 when I tried to turn the stove on
Unplugged the old temp sensor at the back of the stove. From the inside I removed the 2 retaining screws. I taped a string to the old wire and pulled it through so I could pull the new harness through on the new sensor. When the new sensor arrived I installed it in reverse order. Easy peasy. Works great!!!!

Oven would not maintain temperature
First I removed the oven racks, then the bottom cover over the burner. I then unscrewed the two screws holding the igniter on to the bracket on the burner tube. I then removed the storage drawer and loosened the two screws holding the metal shield in place. I then unclipped the electrical connection to the ignitor and pushed it up past the insulation. I then went back into the oven and pulled the wires and connector through. The old igniter was out!

Installation of the new one was just as easy. Screwed the new igniter onto the backet, stuck the electrical connector through the hole in the back of the burner tube, and connected it. I then replaced the shield and the storage drawer, replaced the bottom pan over the burner tube and the racks. The stove works perfectly and my wife is happy. The job couldn't be easier.
