plug in burner wouldn't heat correctly.
Very simple..it took 2 seconds, just unplugged the old one & plugged in the new one. I should of done this a long time ago. It was perfect timing for Thanksgiving dinner! Thank-you so much.

Got new black granite countertops and the cooktop looked old and dated with the element cartridge on one side and the griddle on the other side
Removed the griddle and cleaned underneath. Replaced it with the new cartridge. Removed the otherside (old coil cartridge), cleaned underneath and replaced it with the new cartridge. My stove now blends beautifully with my new countertops without having to replace my whole slide in downdraft Jenn-Aire range! Saved my about $2000!

One of the two elements did not work
I pulled out the old one and slid in the new one... if you can plug in a lamp, you can do this. They couldn't have made it any easier.

Coils would not heat up unless both control swithes were on high
I always wanted an extra cartridge for my stove. The grill it came with never got used. Now I have a 4 burner stove. However I need to look at the control switches. The brand new cartridge works the same as the old one did. I figured this would be the case.
Parts Select did a great job getting me the insert. Now I need to order up the switches. Hopefully them we will be back in business. More trouble shooting on the way...

The other cartridge was 24 years old
I cook on the stove top daily and have been the homeowner for 7 years. The cartridges obviously were showing signs of wear and tear, so I ordered the cartridges from Parts Select.
I was so impressed with the packaging and the shippment package. There was no way the cartridges would not be working....and I was right!
It was so easy to install and so improved the appearance. I do believe the coils are heating better than the old ones.
What a way to dress up and old stove. I remember my father always saying, "if it isn't broken, don't fix it". I just improved what I have, can still use all the accessories, and am very pleased with Parts Select.

old burners were chipped and stained
Removed old units, cleaned the areas underneath well and plugged in the new units. Stove top looks like new again,

Lge. coil element was broken
This was VERY easy. We simply unplugged the old stainless steel dual coil cartridge out of the Jenn-Air and plugged the new one in to it's place.
We also replaced the old non stick griddle and bought a black cartridge cover. And "wha-lah" we had a new looking cooktop. Great cust. service.
Making sure that the recepticles were matched up at the time of ordering was very important as there are two types.

My burners were not working properly
It is just a matter of taking out the old cartridge and replacing it with the new on and it looks like a almost new stove. Works amazing.

the old stove top insert quit working
it wen't fairly well, the old one popped right out and the new one slid right in no problem, till i turned it on and the wiring is wrong, the front burner turns on as it should, but when you turn on the rear, both burners come on.

My Jenn-Air had an old, very used element
with Jenn-Air, you just plug it in - just like that you have an almost new kitchen range.

Old element cartridge no longer functions well, low heat
Lift large burner end of the element by the raised slot and pull old element out. Install the plug prongs of new element into cooktop plug and lower element in place. Done. My unit is 26 years old and I have replaced elements several times. I keep a spare on hand for replacement and the one I ordered is now my spare.

Old Electric Eye became rusty and discentegrated ....
Unplugged old one ..... plugged in New one ! That' why I own 3 Jenn Air Ranges The oldest are both 27 years old and work and look NEW !
