Heating unit burnt out
First shut off breaker to oven before starting the repairs. Removed old unit by removing two phillips head screws at each side above element entrance. Gently pull element out to expose wire attachments. Remove wires from each side careful not to lose wires inside back of oven. Replace with new element,(which was ordered online, and received within three days)in reverse order in which it was removed. Turn breaker to oven back on. Oven like new and ready to bake.

burned out lower element
I unscrewed the element from the oven where the ends enter the back of the oven. I pulled out the element ends and unhooked the wire connectors being careful not to let them pull back into the oven wall. I connected the wire connectors to the new element, making sure that the front support was pointed down, and replaced the screws.

burned oven bulb
The hardest part was taking out original light bulb because screws on shield where hard to unscrew after all this years . The old bulb vent out leaving neck in socket. It took narrow electrical pliers to get neck out .The generic appliance bulb did not fit and had aluminum neck ,not recommended for brass sockets in ovens.Putting new light bulb in was not the problem.

Bake Element failure
The bake element died after 20+ years. Turn off the power at the breaker panel. A Phillips head screw holds a plate over each side of the bake element. After unscrewing the plate, you will notice an electric lead attached to a female clip slips onto the end of each side of the element. BE CAREFUL not to lose the clip(s) in the insulation after taking off the male end of the old element! I used a clothes pin to keep the clip from slipping away. If the clip slips away you'll have to fish it out of the back of the oven and that means pulling the oven out of the wall. Sound like fun? I thought not. Take the opportunity to clean your oven also. That was the hardest part. Clip the end of the new element to each of the clips, right and left side, replace the plate and screw in the Phillips head screw. Turn back on the power in the breaker panel. Voila! Done!
