First I removed the 2 screws on each side of the element and then pulled the element out, disconnected the 2 wires that were holding the element, got the new element and connected it to the wires, slid back into position, put the screws back in that hold the element and put the racks back in and turned on for test. It was so easy I had it done before my husband arrived home from work.

unplug old baking element using socket tool and put in new baking element - very simple and it works!

I'm a stay at home mom so when the oven didn't heat up I through oh no I have to get a new one. Well who can afford to get a new oven right after christmas. So I played with it to see if the other parts still worked, when I found that they did, I googled the the Appliance name, that is when PartSelect showed up and they had a video on how to replace the bake element. It looked doable so I ordered the part and it really was a easy fix. It took less than 10min all I had to do was pull out the old element and put in the new element. Unplugged stove, use nutdriver, removed screws, pulled out old element, put in new one. Done. As prescribed. Excellent help as well as got part the next business day.

I used this site self diagnostic page and ordered the oven heating element as that was the item suggested for repairs. It was the correct part to fix my oven problem. I had my electrician visiting to install two light fixtures so I had him install the new heating element in the oven. Even with him going to the garage to turn the circuit breaker off for the range the installation took less than 5 minutes.

unscrewed rear connections, removed broken element, installed new

took out the screws at the back of the oven, removed the old element and put the new one in, replaced the screws. The new part was mostly the same size as the old one, some of the angles were different and the ends slightly different, but it fit and works great.

Removed sheet metal plate from back of oven. Disconnected two lead from existing bake element. Removed existing bake element, replaced with new one. Connected wires, replaced sheet metal.

The trick with this old oven is to access the wires from the back.

They don't make appliances this easy to repair anymore. just as others say: screw out, unhook element ..hook new one to wires, screws back in.. you're DONE.. Thanks for great service and very quick delivery

Just removed nuts. Pulled out the element from the unit. Disconnected each end. Reconnected new element. Pushed piece back into insulated unit. Attached nuts. Done.

We tested all of the other "functions" of the oven to make sure that everything else worked fine, and we realized that the problem really had to be the element.

We ordered it and it came within 72 hours! We simply unscrewed the faulty element, made sure that the wires were handled carefully (circuit turned off!), and inserted the new element and rewired and screwed back into place the screws that were removed.

Simple as pie! You can do this! You don't need a service call for this one guys! Get BRAVE!!

had to replace a piece of the wire harness and als o the surface element prongs were melted so i replaed them and now the stove is working perfect..thanks parts select you saved me hundreds of dollars,

took off the back of the stove..first Unplugged it! and undid the old unit, and put the new one on....easy peasy!..Thanks for your fast mailing!

Had to drill 2 new holes 1/4 lower in oven so new coil would bolt up evenly besides that it went easily.

I had a friend come..He unpluged the old one and put the new one in when it arrived. All is well. Thank you for having the part that was needed. Now the over works super..
