I tested the element with a digital meter and found it was bad but I also followed your great tip to replace the receptacle which it really needed replaced also. Both parts now work and fit like new. Thanks

Removed old bowl and dropped in new one!!It looks great - the cooktop is probably 30 years old.Your serviceperson was courteous friendly and very rapid.This actually is the second replacement but I was pleasantly surprised that the part was available. Thanks!!

I was 100% happy with the whole process! The part arrived on schedule, it was exactly what I wanted! Undid one screw. Removed the broken slide. Replaced with new slide an fastened with the existing screw. Problem solved.

Removed lower oven rack. Unplugged stove,removed 2 screws holding element in place,pulled element forward unplugged 2 wires. Reversed proc. To reinstall . Very simple. Parts were here in less than 24 hrs using standard shipping. Very good service

I found a video on YouTube and watched it showing how to change the element - then I performed the repair based on the instructions and recommendations in the video. The video had some good recommendations and cautions that helped ensure a successful repair.

I purchased a new infinite control switch 6". and replace the old one.

Keep in mind that I am a 65 year old woman who has replaced bake elements on a much older range that was hard wired. I viewed the video so I knew what to expect. The job would have taken no more than 15 minutes if the retaining screws had not been stuck. After several doses of WD40, I finally managed to get them loose but only then after I had tried every screw driver in the house. I clamped the leads with vise grips to keep them from slipping back in the stove. Unplugging the old broken element and plugging in the new one took maybe a couple of minutes. The retaining screws went back in without a problem.

Followed the easy instruction sheet provided.

I took the old bowls out and dropped the new bowls in. No problem.

removed the two screws and unhooked the old heating element. I set the new element in place and attached the electrical leads and replaced the two screws and tested the oven.

Its was very easy, I unscrewed the old part and screwed on the new one and put the drawer back in place and it works perfect.

Known for his trade as an engineer with over 50 years in the industry wearing white shirts and working in an office; however, he is not afraid to get his hand dirty. We all worked together (my husband, daughter and me) to troubleshoot and resolve the problem and the terminal block purchased from "parts select" was just the answer to all our problems and worries. The range is fully operational and works like new. Thanks.

Only difficult because one heating element connector broken off. Before receiving correct part, tried to install generic element, which had leads about 2 inches too long, so trying to force into place bent electrical connectors that go from oven to heating element. Tried to bend one back and it broke off, so did not bend 2nd one back. Received correct heating element, and slid unbroken connector on one element side, and soldered 2nd element on. Screwed heating element in and it works fine.
