the new elements were super easy to replace. the old ones just pulled out and the new ones easily pushed in. the top one was a little more difficult only because it had brackets that had to be slid of and then slid onto the new one.

Called repairman, he never called back for a week. Gave up and found your website, ordered the part. You said it would take 3-5 business days. You lied, it was there the next day. Taking old element out starts with shutting off the juice. Remove trays, pans, etc. Unscrew two screws, pull out elements ends, unclip from wires, reverse the process with new one. You need a light to do this.

Broken part was already removed, so I used the screw from the broken support and installed the new support. Very simple, easy, and painless.

First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires reverse the order to install the socet was easy but after i was done discovered that the base of the old bulb was stuck in the socet keeped it for future use

took out old element, replaced with new.

I unplugged the stove. Took out the burner and removed receptacle by pulling it out of the bracket and clipping the wires. One thing you want to make sure is that when you clip the wires from the receptacle you're replacing you leave enough wire so that you can connect them to the wires on the new receptacle when it is in place on the stove. I had just enough but would have liked more. The bracket I received didn't match the one on the stove so I used the one on the stove since the receptacle itself was the same as the one I was replacing.

I watched the video provided by Part Select before I ordered the part. I removed the old element by taking out two screws and unplugging it from the wires. I put the new element in place, connected the wire to the right side and then opened up the back of the range to connect the left side. The repair was easy, but the video did not show that you had to connect the left side from the rear of the appliance. It was easy to figure out. The appliance works like a charm...no like an oven.

I figured there couldn't be much else but the element that was bad, so I searched for "Magic Chef stove parts" on Google and found your site. Your site described the location for the model number of my stove, and also gave troubleshooting tips. I verified the element was bad with an ohmmeter and ordered the part from you guys. It arrived early, and installed with 2 screws and 2 push-on terminals. Stove works great now! I'm a web programmer and I think your website is very intuitive and useful. The information like model numbers, troubleshooting, parts measurements and extensive parts pictures is perfect for your customers. Pretty simple, except the element melted very close to one end, so the screw holding the element to the rear of the stove was partly melted also. Had to drill it out & used a nut & bolt to secure the new element.
Apart from that, it was a breeze. As others have done, I re-tightened the lugs that the element plugged into.
Suggest a "test heating" before using stove: mine had a strong odor on first use, fine afterwards

After buying a 'universal' part at Lowe's and it not fitting correctly and shorting out the burner, I went online and found this source for an exact replacement part. Beside having to disassemble the drop in stove burner two or three times it went well when I had the correct part. I lost one screw somewhere and that delayed me a short time to find a replacement. Thus the 1 to 2 hours. It would have been about a 30 minute job if I had been smarter.

It was very easy to fix

I removed the element from the back of the oven.Then i removed the wires from the bad element. I then attached the wires to the new element,and screwed it into place.

Watched the video provided and followed the instructions. I couldn't believe how simple it was to fix the problem! I ordered the part Sunday evening and it was sitting in front of my door Tuesday afternoon. Talk about service! I couldn't be more pleased with the convience of fixing my problem right from my own home. Thank You!
