62945769 Maytag Range - Instructions

took out the old dome cover and replaced it with a new one by unscrewing and replaced the new one and a fiberglass gasket. simple.

Removed front panel of range, removed switch (2 screws), unclipped wires from back of existing switch. Installed new switch - reverse order of above.

Drop in range was in excellent condition until element burst and was getting ready to purchase another range and then I was looking to replace the element and found part select and they were great from the order process and shipping was fast and the whole process was 5 STARS. As far as me doing the repair I watched the video and it was simple for even me. I also replaced the bake element at the same time. Once again I highly recommend Part Select and they are second to none.

I watched the video on the web site and it worked like a dream. Two screws to take out - disconnect wires put back connecting wires and replace the screws again. Just like the video. Thanks

I got the run around about my HARWICK stove at several part stores. Like they all said the same thing (cant look it up just bring it down) So i did and then they would say, what's the model number. ERR! SO my wife found parts select on the web and they beat the three price quotes I got. First turn the power off to the stove!!! The repair was simple. Just remove the two screws on both side's and pull the element out but just enough for the wire's to show. Disconnect the two wire's and pull the element out. Reverse the processes but when wire's are reconnected squeeze terminals end gently to ensure a good connection. This is a great company to deal with, I will be using them again. Went online to find replacement part. (Because I’m cheap) Came across the website, found the part by model number, and watched the wonderful replacement video that was right on the same page as the part. After the part arrived, (in just a couple of days) I put the new one in. Only took a couple of minutes! Perfection! Thanks for making my problem, no problem at all!

I Lifted the oven door from the hinges and removed all the screws to get to the broken glass pane, since the oven door is in layers I taped the screws close to where they belonged, so that I could screw everything together again in the right order..
The last time this happened to me(!!) I brought the door to a repair man and hadto pay 200 dollars , I saved 150 Dollars doing it myself!

Disassembled the oven door, removed broken glass, replaced with new glass and reassembled oven door. Took very little time. Online diagram on this site helped to keep everything in order and easily know what part was needed. Thanks!!!!

simply took off smooth surface top flipped it upsde down on a towel. unbolted the entire burner assembly. matched connections with the new burner with limit switch. replaced smooth surface top plugged it in. no problems. extremely easy fix no repair charges.

Turn off breaker.
Unscrew old element, disconnect wires.
Connect wires to new element, tighten screws.
Breaker back to ON.
Done.

Removed the electrical power. Lifted up the top. Slipped off the two connecting wires. Removed two screws. reinstalled new thermostat in reverse order.

I unplug the stove first. Then took off two screws that held the bake element in place. Pulled off the connectors using the pliers. Had to use pliers because they were really snug. Plug in the wires to the new base element. Crimped down the connectors a little bit to make sure they were snug. Inserted the bake element back into the holes at the back of the oven. Put the two screws back in. Plugged the oven back in and turned it on to make sure it worked. Lastly, tossed the old bake element in the trash. Really easy job. Glad I didn't pay anybody to do this.

Unplugged stove, unscrewed element pulled element out about 3 inces and disconnected element. Took model of stove looked on line for part. PartSelect had the best price and easiest web site to order part. Ordered part about 4pm and received part in 2 days. Took element out of box plug into connections and screwed the element back in. Plugged stove in and worked perfect.

pulled breaker,removed oven door,removed 2 screws,pulled bake element out 3 inches,pulled connections off,pushed connectors on new element,pushed new element back and replaced screws,replaced oven door ,pushed breaker back and turned on oven and let it heat up to 350 degrees.
Total time 10 minutes,even a caveman could do it.

Turn Off the BREAKER!!!
Unplug the stove/oven
Opened the oven door
Unscrewed the baking element for the oven
Pulled the old element out about 3"
Disconnected the wire clip on both sides
Plugged the element into the clips
Screwed element back into place
Plugged oven in ,turned on breaker
PRESTO DONE
