Accessed igniter removed 2screws holding it.unpluged igniter installed new one.

The repair was a no brainer - twist to release the old burner - disconnect the spark wires. connect the spark wires on the new unit - drop it in and twist to lock - about 2 minute job

Remove screw securing the broken drawer guide. Placed new drawer support in place and tightened screw. Replaced drawer. All done in less than 5 minutes (and cheaply).

I used a pipe wrench to turn the old burner off and removed the crumbling washer underneath- no need to replace this. I took off the 2 wires, crimped them onto the new burner, twisted it back into place and presto- all fixed!

I noticed the drawer on the broiler was sliding crooked and found the plastic slides had broken. Of course I thought it would be a hassle and not worth the time to fix it. I would just "live with it". Boy was I wrong, it was probably the simplest fix ever. It was easy to get the correct parts from PartSelect with their exploded and concise diagram. The parts were ordered and delivered in a couple of days. It took me all of 10 minutes with a screwdriver to make the repairs. Now it is a good as new.

The ignitor is held on by two screws which were rusted in place. When I tried to remove them, the screws became stripped and had to be cut off.

Once the part was free, the rest of the repair went quickly . At that point:
- Pull the element leads enough to get to the plastic connector
- Disconnect the old part
- Connect the new part
- Re-attach to the bracket with new screws.

I loosened the bottom of the front panel by the door and then worked my fingers inside the opening behind the gas knob to pull off the control panel(touchpad membrane) and to replace it that way also.

Removed bottom tray of oven, unscrewed gas pipe, removed old igniter and replaced it. Spent some extra time digging around for leads, etc. before discovering that my new igniter was identical to the old one and all I had to do was plug it in.

using the diagram shown on line Looked up the ignition module and ordered it by phone. Received it the next day and installed it within the hour. Previously I had called the repairman and he said it would be a couple of weeks before he could look at it and a service call was $75 plus parts..I fixed it for the cost of the module $34. I am very satisfied.

Called the repairman who replaced the first "membrane" 3 years ago to determine how to remove the range top. He graciously related that all I had to do was remove the burners by turning them half a turn to the left and pull up, then disconnect the wires and lay the burners out in the order they were removed. Then remove the six screws holding the top to the burner elements and remove the top, rotating it from the back up. Remove the membrane from the front of the range by peeling the adhesive away, and disconnect the six prong connection, then reverse the procedure and you're done.
While you at it, clean all the burners and the range top throughly to impress your wife.

I located the temp sensor (top left). Removed the 2x Phillips screws and slide the wire out until the plug is thru the opening taking care not to pull to hard as to damage the end that you not going to replace. To install plug it in and push the wire thru and secure with 2x Phillip screws.

slide latches in rear of floor panel forward and remove.

First I want thank you for being there for me . If it wasn't for you I would be having thanksgiving at my mother inlaw first iremoved the two screwsthat holds thy element in place. I then pulledthe element out about 3 in and disconnected the two wires . It's easy as 1. 2. 3

took out the old dome cover and replaced it with a new one by unscrewing and replaced the new one and a fiberglass gasket. simple.
