Replace oven heating element
The process would have been easy except the wiring to the element had a problem. One wire was too short which meant pulling the entire stove assembly out to reroute the wire. The part worked fine; the problem was with initial wiring of stove.

Sockets for the burner elementss were burned out
I removed the burner elements for three burners by lifting the surface top and unplugging them. I snapped out the plug sockets that were burned out and cut the two wires, one element at a time. Using the included wire nuts I stripped the ends of the cut wire and connected each wire to one of the wires on the new socket. Once the wires were connected I snapped the sockets in place and reinstalled the elements, lowered the surface top and the range was ready to use.

Electrical receptacle for burner was defective.
After buying a 'universal' part at Lowe's and it not fitting correctly and shorting out the burner, I went online and found this source for an exact replacement part. Beside having to disassemble the drop in stove burner two or three times it went well when I had the correct part. I lost one screw somewhere and that delayed me a short time to find a replacement. Thus the 1 to 2 hours. It would have been about a 30 minute job if I had been smarter.

Used stove was missing 1 leg.
My used stove had been dropped by the previous owner. While I could live with the minor scratches on one side the wooden shims holding up one corner were annoying. A new leveling leg was less than $2. I used a pair of needle nose pliers to straighten the mounting hole and screwed the new leg in. This used stove was originally $2000 but I bought it for $999. the new leg plus shipping was about $10. What a deal.

Bake Element had burned out and actually snapped apart
Followed the instruction video that came with the part. Replacing the element is very easy as you just unscrew the two sides, slide the element out, detach the wire on each side, place the new element in and attach the wires, then slide into place and screw the holders in place. Wish everything was this easy to repair.

the bake element had a portion burned almost completely through
1. turned off the breaker delivering power to the oven. 2. removed the grates. 3. unscrewed the 2 screws holding the element in place and gently pulled the2 ends of the element from the rear of the oven. 4. disconnected the 2 power connections from the element being careful not to have them slip back into the insulation at the rear of the oven. 5 removed the element and connected the new element to the power sources - this was the most difficult task, with little wire extending from the back of the oven it required delicate handling and certainty that the connection was solid. 6. slid the 2 prongs of the element into the rear of the oven. 7. installed the 2 screws. 8. replaced the grates.
