feet on gas stove top grates were gone
Very simple, cleaned out what was remaining of the old rubber feet and just pushed these in. I didn't bother glueing them in as I didn't feel they would fall out. If they do, I'll go out and obtain the glue that is mentioned by others in this thread. Very satisfied.

Open oven door. Remove covers from burner tube. Remove 2 screws holding igniter. Remove panel from back of range. Unplug 2 wires attached to igniter. Pull wires thru inside of oven. Reverse process to install new igniter.

Oven would turn on but not heat
Looked online and found it was probably the igniter which wasn't firing. An incredibly gratifying and easy experience with the self-fix. Worked on the first try just like new.

Light lens broke when self clean cycle was used
I searched Whirlpool, Sears and random appliance stores and Part Select was the only company to have the lens available. All other manufacturers said the lens was no longer manufactured as a stand alone piece and I would have to buy the entire light assembly. Thank you Parts Select!!!!!

One of the pads on the bottom of the grate kept falling off.
I was able to order the part I needed. The faulty pad had a broken stem.Several pads came in a bag so if I have the problem again I will have the parts on hand. I bought some RTV glue suitable for items at high temperatures; used a probe to make sure the hole in the grate was clear and clean and glued the new pad in place.

Range was operating intermittently.
The repair was so easy. The part came in a box and as I expected it was an exact match. I closed my eyes...counted to three and behold the part was installed. I don't think that installation could have gone any better. I would buy again from this company if I needed parts for any appliance.

Burner grate pads worn off or missing
I took a jewelers screwdriver and completely cleaned out what was left of the old pads. Then applied a small amount of heat resistant rtv sealant to each hole, slid in the new pads and wiped off the excess. I let everything set overnight. The next day everything was solid. Job was complete. Note I've done this before and did not get the results I did this time. I believe it was the instruction that came with the pads and the tip-off to use the rtv. Thank you PartSelect T.Garr

Oven would not heat up/slight smell of gas
Replacing the igniter took care of the problem. I just wish I had made better notes about how the wire were routed. It would have saved time as I re-assembled everything. Th ejob itself was really easy.

Kitchenaid gas oven would not heat
The stove burners and oven broiler worked fine so it was obviously something with the oven ignition. My oven is 14 years old so it made sense that the ignition would wear out. I followed the instructions provided on the PartSelect website for this repair and it worked perfectly. Very easy fix!

Interior glass was broken
I watched some videos on YouTube first that said you could flip a latch on the door hinges and remove the door entirely. On this older oven there was no latch, you just open the door to its first position and lift up and out to remove the door. Unlike newer doors leave this one face up on a table to work on it. Remove all (10?) of the screws along the bottom edge, pull away the side door trim pieces, then remove the outside panel of the door by lifting slightly then pulling downwards. Mine was actually a glass panel, so be careful. Remove the two screws holding the upper door trim down onto the hinge mechanisms and rotate the trim out of the way. Lift off the large metal cover to expose the first, outer glass, then remove the insulation, then remove the screws and clips holding down the metal frame around the inner glass. Clean everything well (I used a baking soda paste), then replace in the reverse order.
