the fastener became loose and dropped into the stove
This is a cook stove that is used 5 months a year. We have not fixed it yet because we are now in Florida the stove is in New York. We ordered that part just before we left NY for FL so the repair will be done in June of 2021.

Followup Repair to Install Door Trim
I had to unscrew the handle from the door as well as take out the front glass, put the trim in place (Thank God for the bottom placement nipples on each trimpiece), hold everything together after aligning all the pieces in place while I screwed the handle back on. The reason I was replacing the trim in the first place was that it is fragile plastic that had broken on both sides when I replaced one inner glass piece that had broken.

the screw came out of the oven door and the snapped the side molding in half
Well I had my oven door ducked taped together. I Am a 51 yr old female and I laid on the floor on my back to see if I could get the rest of the molding out without having to take off the entire oven door. I was able yo pop out the rest of the broken molding. I wasn't able to snap in the put it under the front of the oven door hold it together and screw in my new screw on the inside of the oven door. IT WORKED!! If I can do this so can you.

Clothes would not fully dry in automatic cycle
1st gen whirlpool Duet dryer sensor not working in automatic cycle.
After ordering the moisture sensor harness which is about 6-8 inches long, I removed the lower panel and it is right there. I disconnected the two wire connectors in the upper left and I need a small screwdriver to disconnect the two pin connector which was a bit of a pain but once replaced I no longer had to use the timed setting to dry clothes and this will save me electricity.

Rust on oven door lower trim.
Do not remove the oven door. (Not necessary.)
Remove the lower storage drawer.
While laying on the floor, remove 5 screws on bottom edge of door, two on each end, one in the middle. Middle screw is slightly different than other 4.
Caution: When removing the lower trim, the front glass may slip down. Be prepared to catch it. The side trim pieces may also slip out.
It helps to have a second pair of hands here. If needed: Slide the front glass back into place. Slide the side trim pieces back into place.
Position new lower trim piece, align holes. Start with the center screw, then the end screws. Leave all screws "loose" until all 5 are threaded, then tighten.
NOT recommended to caulk trim to prevent future rust. The caulk will act like glue on the front glass.

Electric burner element not working
Video said to remove screws and lift stove top off, remove contacts and ground. My stove top was hinged and required me to lift and pivot stovetop up. The burners were anchored to the stove base not the top. I secured the topso that it would not drop down and proceeded with repair

surface element not working
Ordered new element from PartSelect. It arrived shortly. It did not match the original. Guy at appliance store explained how I could connect the wires on the new one. It still did not fix the problem. A repair man tried for 2.5 hours to fix it with no success. Now I will return the replacement element in the return envelope provided.
