Your website is great...easy and it literally took me no mote than 5 minutes to find what I needed and order...and received it VERY quickly. Must say I was dreading going to some parts house that we have in our town in bad area, and searching on dusty shelves for what I needed...am so glad I found you!!

after pulling away from wall and unplugging remove 5 screws in upper back panel lift off being careful of sharp edges if part of lens is still in hole push it out towards the front insert lens from front of unit slide light assy over pin on back of lens replace back panel plug in range push back against wall check for level you're done

Disassembled inside of oven. Slid away from wall opened back replaced safety valve and igniter. Safety valve was good changed only because it was apart. Resemble and test sat. Kept old safety valve for emergency spare.

Open the door and slide in the new rack.

I had no experience working on the stove before so it was all new to me. Removed the top cover. Removed the igniters and the burner connections which allowed access to the splash pan. Removed the splash pan and replaced the two broken tubes. Job would have been faster had I known how to access the front burner controls. As a result, we have a fully functioning Tappan range in our kitchen and the range is much better than anything commercially available. They don't make em like that anymore.

Removed the face ot the drawer, revealing the screws. Took off the remaining screw holding only a piece of the old handle. Replaced with the new handle and replaced the face.

easy replacement

YouTube video I used was for a newer version of the same model stove. Door did not have latches to remove it. It was fairly easy getting to the old igniter but a bit of a struggle getting to unplug it, as the connector was behind a small metal shield in the bottom left corner of the oven. Because I couldn’t remove the oven door, it made it more difficult to undo the screw holding it in. I finally did, and from that point it went smoothly. I was worried that I was going to access it from the back, but I didn’t need to. I installed the new one, turned gas back on, moved the stove back to position, and turned on the oven. Very happy to have succeeded, adding a few more years to the stove and saving money for the installation of the igniter.

This product was super easy to apply. The part came in perfect condition and when I discovered 2 of the screws had fallen into the actual door (causing the door to apply pressure unevenly to the handle when pulled) fixing it was a snap.

I had the part number from the manufacturer manual and they sent me a knob with a different number that did not look the same on the front of the stove and stuck out like a sore thumb. So I had to send it back after several more calls and more e-mails.

I simply typed in the model number and hit search. I found the replacment handle right away. The grid picture allowed me to make sure the size was the same. Your web site is top notch! Finding, ordering and shipping was all fast! There was several screws holding the door together. I took them out and the door apart. Removed the old handle and put on the new. It had 4 screws. Put it back together. In all about 15 minutes and easy. If you have a part I need I will not even bother to look else where! Thanks again!

Really a no brainer, but I do have to say that PartSelect customer service is excellent. My part was located and on it's way within a day and arrived a couple of days later.
