Water dispenser drip when not being used.
Unplug, turn off water supply, carefully remove lower back cardboard cover, unscrew old valve mount, lay towel down, disconnect the three water lines, modify provided “L” bracket by drilling a hole outboard of one of the slots to match/fit the wider original mount holes on the refrigerator’s bottom pan, screw top/short end of bracket to valve, cut back the two clear lines about 1/2” for a “fresh” end, connect all three lines, position valve and secure with original screws (access is tight, used small 1/4” wrench), turn on water/check for leaks, install back lower cardboard, plug in and verify function.

Water not entering icemaker
Initial problem was water not entering the icemaker. Replacing the valve assembly did not solve the problem. Further investigation revealed the inflow tube to he icemaker had frozen water in it. Cleaned the ice our and water flowed a bit but not enough to fill the tray. Still investigating the problem.

My refrigerator water supply stop.
I repaired exactly the way it was explained by Partselect on youtube video. Pulled the fridge from the wall, turn off cold water supply, unscrewed the valve from side of the fridge, as I disconnected the power lines one at the time I inserted it on the new one and I disconnected the water tubing one at the time I inserted on the new valve so I would not get confuse later then I inserted the filter tubing that goes from the valve to the filter, then replaced the filter with a new one once there and the job was done. Nothing to it, in the past I hired a technician and charged me $395.00 ; $65.00 for consultation, $95.00 to installed it and $235.00 for the water inlet valve. Is that a rip-off of what? This time it only cost me $35.00 for the valve did it myself with youtube-partselect video. It was so helpful. Do your homework and don't let nobody steal you blind.

Ice maker not making ice
Replacement of the valve was pretty simple, after replacing the valve , ice maker still not making ice, after running the ice maker tests , using the test point, noticed the valve was working but no water to ice maker, the saddle valve was clogged, replaced saddle valve, now have lots of ice cubes. Also installed a water filter.

Intermitant squealing noise from freezer area.
I basically followed the step-by-step instructions at the parts order website. I removed the shelves and rear panels to access the fan. I noted the color coding on the wires and terminals, removed the two retainer screws, removed the old fan from the mounting bracket, installed the new fan using the rubber anti-vibration mounts, pressed-on the fan to the center drive shaft and re-installed the assembly to the back wall. I simply replaced the rear panels and shelves and plugged in the fridge. The only issue I had was the distance needed to press on the fan blade to preclude fan noise, which I found by trial and error, before re-installing the panels.

The ice maker was leaking water into the freezer.
I watched the video to get up the courage to try the repair myself. I figured out the refrigerator model umber and ordered the parts on line from Parts Select. Parts showed up in a few days. Pretty easy so far. Under close scrutiny of the wife, I unplugged the refrigerator. I used a nut driver on my cordless screw gun to remove the back cover and valve. I removed the plastic water lines and electrical connectors from the old valve and attached them to the new part. Everything matched perfectly. I replaced the valve and back cover. I pluged the refrigerator back in. It might have taken 20 minutes total. The wife has her icemaker back online and I'm a hero! Thanks Parts Select!
