bake element fried and broke in 3 pieces
I removed the two screws that hold the element, then I took the back cover of the range to have access to the wires, after that, I took the old one out, placed the new one and finally hooked the wires and placed the two screws right back. Very easy. I thought about bringing someone to do the job, and after I was done, I couldn't believe how easy it was.

One of the two wires slipped back into the void space.
I ended up having to re-move the back panel on the stove to access one of the wires, so that I could pull the hot wire back through the inside of the oven. The connection to the bake element was then made simple and easy. My time lost was removing the back panel and re-installation. I can not complain about the repair problem. I saved at least a couple hundred bucks. So that's my story. Thanks for the response in expediting my order of the exact bake element.

Socket set
Two blocks kept shorting out.
After watching the video and ordering the parts and searching for the right size socket (which took most of the time) and finding medical tape as I had no electrical tape I took of the back unhooked the terminals and following the wires to determine which ones needed to be replaced I followed the video instructions on reverse as my son had spliced new terminal blocks into the old wires I taped each new wire to the one it was replacing and pulled it through the back of the stove and into the front attached the new wires to the new block and pushed the clips on the other end of the wires to the knob boxes. I rolled up the excess wire and taped it securely with medical tape so it wouldn't unravel and be in the way when I reattached the back shield on the stove. After I repeated the process for the second terminal (I had two that kept shorting out) I reassembled the stove plugged it back into the wall and used both burners that night to cook dinner! I have had no problems with those burners since then. Really if you watch the video first and follow the instructions you should have no problems. It is really quite simple if someone hasn't tried to repair the problems without replacing the wires. Splicing new blocks into old wires just doesn't work. If I have this problem again, which I hope I don't, I will be confident in my ability to fix the problem myself. Thank you parts select for repair video and the parts.

heating element burned in two during a oven cleaning cycle
I checked prices on the internet and found your price the cheapest and ordered the part on a holiday. The part arrived in two days and was installed and back to work pronto. Having worked in sales at Caterpillar Inc for a lifetime, I know how important quick delivery and short downtime is to our customers and you came through for me. I am satisfied with my experience dealing with your company.

Broken Oven Rack
I'm so pleased with the ease of placing my order, the price, and the speed of delivery. My only challenge was figuring out the correct part to order, as I didn't have an owner's manual for the range when we moved into the house. But once I located the model # in the range's lower drawer, the website did a good job of guiding me toward the correct replacement part. In my case there was no "repair" involved; I was simply replacing a broken lower oven rack. I would definitely use this company again.

baking element burned out
My baking element burned out after being exposed to grease and other remnants of past feasts. After some research the repair seemed straight forward so I figured I'd give it a shot. Overall it's fairly simple, though there are some things to watch out for.

I didn't remove my oven's door, which restricted my movement somewhat. After removing the bolts I was able to easily remove the old heating element and expose the two connecting wires. One wire had much more slack than the other. I connected the wire with more slack first. However, I'm somewhat uncoordinated and doing so caused the other wire to retract within the unit. I had to pull out my stove and remove the back panel, which was easy. The retracted wire was easy to find, but there was no slack available through the back access either. I actually had to unscrew the wire from the thing that is connected to the wire that plugs in to the outlet first. Doing so gave me enough slack to connect the heating element to the second wire. After that I just reconnected the wire to the outlet connection and put the back panel back on!

About 45 minutes in total time. Most of which was figuring out the approach to getting enough slack to connect the second wire and working around the oven door which restricted my movement.
