Baking element burned through.
I shut off power at electrical box.
Then I removed 4 screws on back to expose connector enclosed in insulation.. It was not necessary as when I removed 2 screws in oven and pulled element out , the element came out far enough to disconnect easily and slip the element into electrical unit.
15 minutes start to finish..

My oven heating element caught fire
I removed the old element and replaced it with the one that I ordered from Parts Select after reading your easy to follow instructions. I'm a 62 year old woman and it really was quite easy. Just make sure all electric sources are disconnected the breaker is off and follow the directions. The repairman would have charged me a minimum of $225. I did it my self for $60.00.

baking element caught fire and broke into pieces
I removed the two screws in the oven and then pulled the stove out to remove the center back panel. This was easy to do once I found the right sized socket. Next I removed the two electric connections from the broken baking element and removed it from the oven. After I cleaned the oven it only took a couple of minutes to install the new baking element (connected the two electric connectors, screwed the two screws in the back of the oven, and replaced the back center panel). After that I plugged the oven in and tested the oven and it worked perfectly. Thanks for getting my new baking element to me so fast.

oven heat element lit up and started the oven on fire
impossible to repair, I would need to dis-assemble at least half of every part of the stove to get to where the element plugs in.

Lower heating element was fried
First had to unplug the stove, then I removed the old one, then had to remove the back panel to put the new one in. Then of course I had to clean up all the stuff behind and under the stove "that part was nasty" But it was worth it, would have costed me $200 at least to have a repair man come out.

Oven temperature low. Took forever for the oven to heat up.
Turned off the power at the stove breaker. Removed all racks. Used nut driver to remove the two (2) mounting screws. Not knowing what's behind I gently pulled the old element out.I used two large heavy duty paper clips to hold the short power wires until I got ready to install the new unit. The procedure went really well. The unit works good and the temp is right in sync with a manual thermometer.By the way,I did remove the oven door first. Oven would not turn off. Only 1 inch of the heating element glowed red hot continuously.
I looked up what was wrong on line. Found the problem and the solution. Put the model number in and found the heating coil I needed. I got the part in 2 days with standard delivery. Easily took the coil out by taking the back off the oven, disconnecting the old heating element which was attached by two simple clips that I just needed to pull apart. Put the heating element that I received in just as I had pulled the old part out. Put the cover back on. It was very very simple and I am proud of myself that I didnt just opt calling a repairman out and took the time to research it myself. Fixed oven for under $60!

bake unit burned through
Well since I am a 71 year old female - First I called my adult son to come fix it. When we pulled the old unit off one of the wires slipped back through the insulation. So the stove had to be pulled from the wall and the back plate removed. the whole thing including cleanup took about 20 minutes.
