The broiler element burned up.
I unscrewed 4 screws. 2 held the element into the back of the oven and 2 held a holding bracket to the top of the oven. I pulled the old element off the two wire brackets coming out of the back wall of the oven. Then I took the new element and reversed the process. Easy.

Lower Bake Element broke apart
Removed the two screws that held the broken element in place, pulled the element out and disconnected the two wires. Placed the connections on the new element and pushed it back in place and screwed it down. Turned it on and baked a cake. This was very easy. I am a 51 y/o woman and did this myself.

Oven Wouldn't Heat
First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches AND UNFORTUNATELY I DID NOT TURN OFF THE BREAKER TO THE OVEN AND THE LIVE WIRE TOUCHED THE SIDE OF THE OVEN AND A WHITE SPARK/EXPLOSION SCARED ME. LUCKY TO BE ALIVE AS I HAD NEARLY CRAWLED INTO THE OVEN WHILE DOING THIS. ALWAYS TURN OF THE BREAKER!!!!

The Element on lower oven split
First we turned off the circuit breaker. Then we removed the oven door. Unscrewed the plate of the broken element and removed from the electric plugs.
We attached the new element to the electric plugs, screwed the plate into the oven. Turned on the circuit and I was back to baking Christmas cookies.
It was as easy as everyone else said it would be. It took about 5 min.

lower bake element burned out
thank you everyone here for your posts which gave me the confidence to try this myself. Could not have been easier and I have zero DIY talents. Just as other have described, unplug oven, unscrew plate holding element, slip wires off of old and onto new and reattach. Perfect!

Broiler element burned out.
Pulled unit from the wall and unplugged power cord. Removed the worn out broiler element from the upper oven compartment. Upon removal one of the wire connectors broke requiring removal of the back cover of the stove. Easily replaced the connector. Broiler element was ordered, reasonable price, and delivered surprisingly fast. Connected the element to the connectors, replaced the mounting screws inside, checked clearances on the rear of the unit and replaced the back panel. Plugged power in and tested perfectly. Mama is happy!!!

Lower oven heating element burned through because of corn muffin mix falling on element
Turned off oven power. Using a Phillips head screw driver I removed the two screws holding the lower element in place from inside the oven. Slowly pulled the element toward me. Met with some resistance because of the oven insullation. The end of the element has two sliding clips that you pull off. Remove the clips, remove the old element and replace with the new one then reverse the procedure.
