I took out the two racks from inside the oven. I then took my cordless screw driver and unscrewed the two hex bolts from the back of the oven , where the element goes through the other side. Next I went to the back of the outside of the oven and unscrewed the two hex bolts that hold the gray guard on(It covers the wires). I unplugged the red and the yellow (might have been a white wire since it was dark back there). wires that connect to the element. I went to the front of the stove and took out the bad element. I took the new one and inserted it into the two holes from the old element. Plugged the red and yellow wires back up and replaced the guard. Lastly I screwed the element to the rear of the oven with the two hex bolts I used before.

first removed the two screws,pulled the element out ,disconnected the wires, pulled it out , cleaned the oven and then reversed the process. could not have been easier for a do it yourself homeowner on a budget.

The replacement element came within a couple of days of our order. From the time I saw it by the front door till the repair was complete was about 10 minutes. Half the time was taken in walking to my tool box. In just a few minutes we had tested the new element and were ready to make dinner. Great value for the price.

First I unplugged the stove. I then removed the two screws that held the element in place. I then pulled the element out about four inches to expose the connection. I disconnected the two wires, removed the element and replaced it with the new one. I then reassembled the oven in reverse order. It was very simple.

removed two bolts on the inside of the oven, disconnected the two electrical connections in back which were a little set so I had to use pliers and removed old element. Reversed procedure to install new element.

The >15 minutes includes vacuuming out the oven.

Turned off circuit breaker, removed the two screws, pulled out the wires, unhooked the connections and hooked up the new element. Put the two screws back in, turned on the power and it worked! So, so easy! I wouldn't have attempted it had it not been for the other stories associated with the part I purchased.

I removed the 2 screwws inside the oven cavity and pulled the element towards me. I unplugged the wires from the element and plugged in the new one and secured it in place with the 2 screws.

Shut off electrical supply to stove.Remove 2 screws.
Slide element out enough to remove connectors from element.
Position new element.Slide connectors onto new element.
Slide element back into position.Replace 2 screws.Turn on electrical supply.

Turned off the breaker to the stove, removed oven racks, used small pair of plyers to remove bolts (2) holding defective element in place. Pulled (2) wires that had a snap connection apart. Old element was not removed. Connected (2) snap wires, pushed them back into the oven wall, used plyers to re-connect the element to oven. Installation DONE!
Turned on breaker and then the oven; we are now baking again.

Pulled out heating elements, removed old drip bowls, replaced with new drip bowls, re-connected heating elements. Done! Looks like a new stove!

It was real easy all I had to do was turn the breaker off,Undo two srews and disconnect the two wires. Then repeated the process to install

I installed the chrome drip bowl and plugged in the burner to make sure that it worked. Voila!! everything is now perfect and i have a happy renter. thank you so much for your fast delivery.

Inspected bake element. Found void. Ordered new bake element from Parts Select. Price was very reasonable. Part came the next day. Stove was fixed in 5 minutes. Great place to get appliance parts. Saved over $100 if repairman was involved.

Well...you'll notice in other tools I put Tweezers. Now you really don't need tweezers if you do it right in the first place. Here's what I did: 1) unscrewed the nuts that hold the element in on the back of the unit. 2) Then pulled the terminals out of the holes in the back of the oven. OOPS...there were sparks as the right terminal wire hit the metal frame of the back of the oven. Scared me. I jumped. the terminal wire burned/broke off and fell back into the hole. Yep...Too late I remembered that the VERY first step of this repair is 1)CUT OFF THE POWER TO THE OVEN. I repeat...THE FIRST STEP IS TO CUT OFF THE POWER TO THE OVEN. I couldn't reach the wire with the needle nose pliers so I had to go get the tweezers. Couldn't see the wire but I just put the tweezers in about two times and it finally caught on the wire and I was able to pull it out. Luckily the terminal end was still connected to the wire so I didn't have to replace it. From there it was 3)remove the old terminal posts from the wires (used the needle nose here to wiggle the ends off - been on a long time), 4)insert the new ones, 5) push the terminal posts back in the holes, 6) screw the nuts back on, 7) bake the cornbread. A very quick job -- plus the element from PartSelect was almost half the price of any other I found (due to this I was able to upgrade the shipping a little to get it sooner and still saved money over any other price I found. Just remember to CUT OFF THE JUICE BEFORE YOU START this repair and it will be done in 5 mins or less.
