Shut off electrical supply to stove.Remove 2 screws.
Slide element out enough to remove connectors from element.
Position new element.Slide connectors onto new element.
Slide element back into position.Replace 2 screws.Turn on electrical supply.

Turned off the breaker to the stove, removed oven racks, used small pair of plyers to remove bolts (2) holding defective element in place. Pulled (2) wires that had a snap connection apart. Old element was not removed. Connected (2) snap wires, pushed them back into the oven wall, used plyers to re-connect the element to oven. Installation DONE!
Turned on breaker and then the oven; we are now baking again.

Pulled out heating elements, removed old drip bowls, replaced with new drip bowls, re-connected heating elements. Done! Looks like a new stove!

It was real easy all I had to do was turn the breaker off,Undo two srews and disconnect the two wires. Then repeated the process to install

Removed oven shelves (30 seconds). Removed 2 screws holding broken element to oven (2 minutes). Pulled broken element assembly out & removed 2 wires attached to element (1 minute). Connected wires to new element (just push them into place) and mounted new element with the 2 screws (1 1/2 minutes). Turned on oven element to test & since I was so tired from all of this 5-minute activity, I rested.

Super simple to repair, removed back cover on oven (after turning off breaker), removed old terminals from over, had to bend new element slightly close to terminals, installed new and replaced oven cover. Less than 15 minutes.

I watched the video on the website then installed the part. In fact, I watched the video twice because I could not believe it was that easy. You can not do any better than PartSelect. This repair was idiot-proof. Removed 2 screws, unplugged the old part, plugged in the new one, and replaced the 2 screws.
Literally a 2 minute repair!!

Piece of cake. 2 screws and a flashlight. I needed needle nose pliers to insert the "plugs" into the "sockets."

Removed to screws holding the bake element in place. pulled out element to get to the 2 electrical connectors. removed connectors from old unit. connected new unit and secured with the screwes. very simple.

I took out the two racks from inside the oven. I then took my cordless screw driver and unscrewed the two hex bolts from the back of the oven , where the element goes through the other side. Next I went to the back of the outside of the oven and unscrewed the two hex bolts that hold the gray guard on(It covers the wires). I unplugged the red and the yellow (might have been a white wire since it was dark back there). wires that connect to the element. I went to the front of the stove and took out the bad element. I took the new one and inserted it into the two holes from the old element. Plugged the red and yellow wires back up and replaced the guard. Lastly I screwed the element to the rear of the oven with the two hex bolts I used before.

first removed the two screws,pulled the element out ,disconnected the wires, pulled it out , cleaned the oven and then reversed the process. could not have been easier for a do it yourself homeowner on a budget.

The replacement element came within a couple of days of our order. From the time I saw it by the front door till the repair was complete was about 10 minutes. Half the time was taken in walking to my tool box. In just a few minutes we had tested the new element and were ready to make dinner. Great value for the price.

I had grease on the baking element when I turned the oven on. I thought it would burn off, it caught fire and destroyed the baking element. I ordered a new element, it came within two days. I didn't wait for my husband to come home. I got a screw driver, took off the screw, used pliers to pull apart the old baking element from the wires. I did this carefully , our oven is old and the element was not pulling away easily. I inserted the new element, put the screws in and it worked perfectly! I was very proud of myself but the truth is that this is a simple job.

Well...you'll notice in other tools I put Tweezers. Now you really don't need tweezers if you do it right in the first place. Here's what I did: 1) unscrewed the nuts that hold the element in on the back of the unit. 2) Then pulled the terminals out of the holes in the back of the oven. OOPS...there were sparks as the right terminal wire hit the metal frame of the back of the oven. Scared me. I jumped. the terminal wire burned/broke off and fell back into the hole. Yep...Too late I remembered that the VERY first step of this repair is 1)CUT OFF THE POWER TO THE OVEN. I repeat...THE FIRST STEP IS TO CUT OFF THE POWER TO THE OVEN. I couldn't reach the wire with the needle nose pliers so I had to go get the tweezers. Couldn't see the wire but I just put the tweezers in about two times and it finally caught on the wire and I was able to pull it out. Luckily the terminal end was still connected to the wire so I didn't have to replace it. From there it was 3)remove the old terminal posts from the wires (used the needle nose here to wiggle the ends off - been on a long time), 4)insert the new ones, 5) push the terminal posts back in the holes, 6) screw the nuts back on, 7) bake the cornbread. A very quick job -- plus the element from PartSelect was almost half the price of any other I found (due to this I was able to upgrade the shipping a little to get it sooner and still saved money over any other price I found. Just remember to CUT OFF THE JUICE BEFORE YOU START this repair and it will be done in 5 mins or less.
