First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place, I then pulled the element out about three inches, and it shorted out on the main panel of the back of the range. I then went to the breaker box and flipped the switch so I could tell my wife "Yes, I had turned the power off."

Disconnecting the two wires and reconnecting them was a simple operation after I cleaned my pants from the electrical short.

Re attaching the two-screw panes to hold the element in place finished the project.

.First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires and reversed the procedure with the new element very simple.

Before ordering, I took the element out to make sure I could do it. A flashlight was helpful.

I flipped off the circuit breakers to the stove, removed the racks and lifted off the oven door. Not having a nutdriver or socket set, I used a 6' crescent wrench to remove the two screws which hold the element to the back of the oven. I carefully pulled the element out until the spade connectors to the wires were exposed. I wiggled the connectors apart. I had pliers handy, but didn't need them.

I connected the new element to the wires and gently pushed the two connected prongs through their holes, trying not to disturb the insulation. I put a little WD-40 on the screws so they would go in easier. After tightening the screws with the crescent wrench, I replaced the racks and door. I flipped the circuit breaker back on and reset the clock. It works as good or better than new.

1st, Turn off the stove at the electrical box. 2nd, Remove the oven door by opening it to the first stop, and then pulled it straight up. 3rd, Remove the 2 screws using a 1/4" nut driver. 4th Pull the old heating element straight out, until the two wires that attach to the element are out 3" from rear oven wall. (Note: Place a peace of tape around each wire before disconnecting from the element. this will keep the wires from falling back through the holes). Remove the wires from the old element and remove the old element. 4th Place the new element into the oven, place the wires onto the new element. Then reverse the order of removal for new element install, for the repair. Less than 10 minutes.

Rating: 5 Stars!! We cut the power, removed two screws disconnected the two wires (just pulled them out of the covers) from the old element and pushed in the new ones. It didn't take longer than 10 minutes!

First I removed the two screws holding the element to the back of the oven. When I pulled the element out I disconnected the two wires and removed the element. I found the serial / part number on the existing part and order from PartSelect. The element arrived two days sooner than expected!! Replacing the element was a bit more difficult in that I had to pull the stove away from the wall and remove the rear cover in order to pull the wires and element through the insulation in the back of the oven. Four screws held the rear cover, but once those were removed the element easily went into place and the repair was finished. Cleaning behind and under the stove took a few extra minutes but the entire repair only took about 30 minutes, plus the wait time for the part. Two tips, pliers were used to disconnect and reconnect the slip-on connectors. The connectors were pretty tight and reaching to the rear of the oven was difficult to get leverage to pull apart and reconnect. Also, the oven light caused considerable glare on my glasses so I taped the door button controlling the oven light and used a flashlight to see inside. Otherwise, a simple repair. PartSelect had the best price on the element and service and delivery were excellent!

Removed oven shelves (30 seconds). Removed 2 screws holding broken element to oven (2 minutes). Pulled broken element assembly out & removed 2 wires attached to element (1 minute). Connected wires to new element (just push them into place) and mounted new element with the 2 screws (1 1/2 minutes). Turned on oven element to test & since I was so tired from all of this 5-minute activity, I rested.

This repair was idiot-proof. Removed 2 screws, unplugged the old part, plugged in the new one, and replaced the 2 screws.
Literally a 2 minute repair!!

First i turned off the main electricity for the oven. Then I removed the two screws with my socket wrench. Then i pulled the element out about 3 inches then disconnected the 2 wires that heated the element. I simply reversed the process to put in the new bake element and i was done.

First I unplugged the stove. I then removed the two screws that held the element in place. I then pulled the element out about four inches to expose the connection. I disconnected the two wires, removed the element and replaced it with the new one. I then reassembled the oven in reverse order. It was very simple.

The hardest part of repair was moving the oven from the cabnets to unplug and gain access to rear of oven. Remove rear cover panel unplug two spade connectors attached to the heating element. Open oven door and remove the two screws holding the heating element to back of oven. Pull heating element out. Then slide the new element in and assemble in reverse order.

Remove two screws holding element. Pull element forward exposing connections. Pull connections apart. Replace with new element. replace screws. Done

I followed the directions in the video on the website. The repair was so easy!! I simply unscrewed the screws holding the element in place at the back of the oven, pulled the wires out. This did take a little bit of time, as I didn't want to pull the wire off of the element and lose it in the back of the oven, but I was able to eventually work it free from the insulation and make the connectors visible. I slid off the old element, slid the wires back on to the new one and pushed them back into the wall of the oven and replaced the screws. Works like a charm!! I will definitely use your website for other appliance repairs!!

Pulled oven from wall, Unplugged oven from outlet, Took 5/16 nut driver pulled back cover off oven to expose the quick connect wires, Pulled wires off old element, Opened oven door took the 2 screws off bracket on back of oven, Removed old element, Put new element in place, Put the 2 wires back on, Buttoned back up check to see if worked it did ((:
