broken light socket
The only tool needed was a nutdriver to remove the lamp socket. I needed my head mounted light to see what I was doing, and everything went smoothly from there. Simple job.

Stain/polyurethane dried on burner head & cap
Lifted both pieces off and placed the new ones on,turned on the burner and it worked as it should.

parts worn looking
No repair needed, just replaced parts. But the real story is that I ordered 6 parts and they came in 2 days. Five came correctly - one was wrong. One five minute phone call and the correct part came two days later. Never had such speed in delivery. And person I spoke with to correct the order was excellent. What a place to do business! Range tipped over in back of our pickup on way home from the store shattering the door glass
Followed the instructions I found on this site - it went really well - exception was trying to figure out exact slots for glass to fit in on top. Looks great!

Oven light wire broken, damaged socket
Remove light bail, glass cover held by two nut screws. Pull socket, removed clips in back, replaced wire connectors, placed new socket in, then glass cover and bail. Wire connected in back, cover plate replaced.

Oven Heating Too Hot, More Than 100 Degree Beyond Setting
Replaced the oven thermostat and calibrated the new thermostat by adjusting the temperature setting knob. Instruction I found on-line were very helpful and the repair was moderately difficult. Trickiest part was threading the new thermostat into the oven. Total repair time about 1 hour.

Oven Would Not Turn Off
I read the instructions from other peoples repairs. One note: unplug stove, and turn gas off, remember where wires go. I didnt have to remove top of stove completly.

The oven door gasket was worn and didn't provide a good seal.
I use needle nose pliers to remove the old gasket tabs and clean the area with a scouring pad. Then I just lined the gasket up with the holes on the door and pushed the holding tab into the holds.Very easy and simple job.

Drip Trays lost finish due to use
Removed grates, lifted old drip pan, cleaned well and put new drip pans in. Simple and looks SO MUCH better!
