took out the old element after cutting the circuit breaker, put in the new one, it was that easy

Pulled out the burner. Just pulled and out it came. Looked you up online. Crawled around on the floor trying to find the model number. (This was the hardest part of the whole process.) Ordered the part; it came the very next day despite the fact that I didn't order special shipping. Unpacked the part, plugged it in. And it worked!!!!

I took out the two racks from inside the oven. I then took my cordless screw driver and unscrewed the two hex bolts from the back of the oven , where the element goes through the other side. Next I went to the back of the outside of the oven and unscrewed the two hex bolts that hold the gray guard on(It covers the wires). I unplugged the red and the yellow (might have been a white wire since it was dark back there). wires that connect to the element. I went to the front of the stove and took out the bad element. I took the new one and inserted it into the two holes from the old element. Plugged the red and yellow wires back up and replaced the guard. Lastly I screwed the element to the rear of the oven with the two hex bolts I used before.

first removed the two screws,pulled the element out ,disconnected the wires, pulled it out , cleaned the oven and then reversed the process. could not have been easier for a do it yourself homeowner on a budget.

The replacement element came within a couple of days of our order. From the time I saw it by the front door till the repair was complete was about 10 minutes. Half the time was taken in walking to my tool box. In just a few minutes we had tested the new element and were ready to make dinner. Great value for the price.

Cut power to oven from breaker box. Remove two retaining screws using a nutdriver at rear of oven. Slowly pull Bake Element from rear of range exposing connector clips. Disconnect at clips from oven wiring. Connect new Baking Element to wiring connectors. Push new baking element into rear of oven. Reconnect baking element using original screws with nutdriver at rear of oven. Turn on power to oven from breaker box. Job complete in 10-15 mins.

I had grease on the baking element when I turned the oven on. I thought it would burn off, it caught fire and destroyed the baking element. I ordered a new element, it came within two days. I didn't wait for my husband to come home. I got a screw driver, took off the screw, used pliers to pull apart the old baking element from the wires. I did this carefully , our oven is old and the element was not pulling away easily. I inserted the new element, put the screws in and it worked perfectly! I was very proud of myself but the truth is that this is a simple job.

Using a wrench, removed old element and simply installed new one - took less than 10 minutes and the oven was working again! Best part was how quickly the item reached us - ordered it on a Wednesday afternoon and had it by Friday afternoon, with no expedited shipping - Great Service!

Uplugged the oven and undid the back contact cover, removed the nuts inside the oven and slid out the element. Pushed the new element into place and secured it. Attached the contacts and replaced the cover. Plugged it in and got cookin'.

Piece of cake. 2 screws and a flashlight. I needed needle nose pliers to insert the "plugs" into the "sockets."

Took out the hexagon screws, used pliers to pull the connecting ends apart, slid in the new element in to the connecting slots, reattached to screws, turned on the oven to see if it would heat up and it did. It was really easy. I had waited for a week to get the part from my local Sears parts house. You sent it out and I had it in 3 days. They still don't have the part. Thanks so much.

I went on-line, found Partselect.com, they gave me the part number, showed me a video on the repair details, shipped the part overnight, and within ten minutes of the arrival of the part, I was up and running. EXCELLENT SERVICE! Thanks for saving Christmas at our house!!

You literally saved our Christmas from a disaster! Four days before Christmas our bake element gave out and we discovered it had split. We found you on the Internet, ordered the part, and prayed you would deliver as promised. We received it the next day, as promised, and in time to cook Christmas dinner. It was a snap to install, literally took five minutes. Your service, response time and instructions were perfect. Keep up the good work!

Well...you'll notice in other tools I put Tweezers. Now you really don't need tweezers if you do it right in the first place. Here's what I did: 1) unscrewed the nuts that hold the element in on the back of the unit. 2) Then pulled the terminals out of the holes in the back of the oven. OOPS...there were sparks as the right terminal wire hit the metal frame of the back of the oven. Scared me. I jumped. the terminal wire burned/broke off and fell back into the hole. Yep...Too late I remembered that the VERY first step of this repair is 1)CUT OFF THE POWER TO THE OVEN. I repeat...THE FIRST STEP IS TO CUT OFF THE POWER TO THE OVEN. I couldn't reach the wire with the needle nose pliers so I had to go get the tweezers. Couldn't see the wire but I just put the tweezers in about two times and it finally caught on the wire and I was able to pull it out. Luckily the terminal end was still connected to the wire so I didn't have to replace it. From there it was 3)remove the old terminal posts from the wires (used the needle nose here to wiggle the ends off - been on a long time), 4)insert the new ones, 5) push the terminal posts back in the holes, 6) screw the nuts back on, 7) bake the cornbread. A very quick job -- plus the element from PartSelect was almost half the price of any other I found (due to this I was able to upgrade the shipping a little to get it sooner and still saved money over any other price I found. Just remember to CUT OFF THE JUICE BEFORE YOU START this repair and it will be done in 5 mins or less.

I actually don't remember if instructions came with purchase. I have purchased appliance parts from here before and they did on previous times. I watched a couple of YouTube videos because I'm a visual guy (as I think most guys are) and the only difference between my reality and the video was I had nuts holding the element in place and the video had screws holding it in place. Extremely easy!! TURN OFF POWER TO STOVE.....PLEASE. Confirm power is OFF (clock not working...range wont turn on....something like that) Take oven door off hinges (mine just slid off without any problem). Remove defective element from oven. In the back there are two screws or bolts, take them out. SLOWLY pull old element out. Be careful and look for the insulation that will try to come out of the hole and watch for the wires that are attached to the element. The wires will come out far enough for you to work with them (about 6" or so). Be very careful NOT to jerk wires through holes too much or damage them. Remove wires from element. I used two pliers, one on element and one on wire crimp...I also sprayed wd40 on the connection prior and let it set for a short time before to loosen it up. Once separated, discard old element. Get new element and reverse the process. I reconnected wires, making sure to put them back in the exact same side they came off of. Ease the element power prongs back through the holes (VERY CAREFULLY, DON'T RUSH AND TEAR IT UP). The new element will fit exactly where the old one came off and just put the screws or bolts back in place and be VERY CAREFUL NOT TO STRIP THE SCREWS OR BOLTS. Turn power back on at breaker and turn on oven to check and see that it works. It should work great. This is the second part I've purchased from these guys and both jobs went flawlessly. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND these guys...plus it's almost the only place I could find to get the parts, but still they are great.
