All I had to do was just unscrew the bolts,pull out the old one, and put the new one on its metal clips and then rebolt.So easy and I know I would have had to pay much more then what I did for the part..This place is super.I ordered my part one day, and it was there the next...Sandy

I turned off the main power! Then unscrewed the back cover unhooked the wires and unscrewed the coil inside of the oven and pulled it out. My 10yr old son and I measured it and went online to order the part. I first did go into BestBuy and they didn't have the part (But they tried to sale me a new oven!) LOL Now who said a newly divorced mom couldn't fix her own oven! My Tech Support skills came in handy! Women Rock! LOL

It was surprisingly simple. All I had to do was shut the breaker off to the stove(safety first). Next open the oven door and use a flashlight just to help you see,and unscrew the two screws holding the element in place on the back stove wall. Next slide the stove away from the was to give yourself enough room to access the back of it(you may need to unplug it to get it out far enough. My model had a cover over the back that took six easy to remove screws. Once the back cover was off I could easily see where the element was plugged into, so i removed the wires from the end of the element(just female terminals slipped over the end) i then went back to the front of the stove and pulled to element out.

To install the new one...just guide the two ends throgh the back of the stove...install the two screws to hold it in place...go to back of stove..plug in wires(they were diff sizes so you couldnt mess it up) and put the cover back on..plug in oven..slide it back..and try it out...its that simple

I turned off the power going to the stove, unscrewed the 2 screws, plugged in the 2 inserts, put the 2 screws back and PRESTO!!!!

Bent the tips so the phillament can fit inside the oven.

It took a nutdriver to remove two nuts. The defective element was removed and the replacement installed. It works great!

Safety first: Turn range circuit breaker to off position. Turn a surface unit [burner] to the on position ,if no light exists power has been removed. Turn surface unit to off position. To remove bake unit. With a 1/4 socket driver remove two self tapping screws and gently pull out on the bake unit until you can access the slide on terninals. Careful lenth of wire is limited. Remove slide on terminals two each [2] . Install new bake unit in reverse order . Restore power

took 2 screws out that held element in, pulled old element out of oven wall, unhooked the wires. Hooked the wires to the new element, pushed it back into the oven wall, replaced the 2 screws.

First unplugged it. Then removed everything in side for easy access. Took screws out 2 of them. Had to pull to removed elemnet . That took a while. Should have tried removing other screws or at less loosen them. It went in easy. And lift off we had red burner. hey..

Removed two screws and removed the oven elelent. One wire was not through the back of the stove. Ordered new element anyway. Slid stove out (slide-in model). Unplugged power. Removed two covers protecting wires on back of stove. Found wire for oven element. Had to cut and strip end of wire and use new blade clip. Crimped new clip to wire and inserted into oven through back of stove. Replaced covers. Plugged oven element to wires and tried out oven. WORKED ! Saved new oven element for next time. Difficulty encounted was lack of knowledge on where stove was screwed into counter-top and what size blade clip to buy. It always helps to have a dog 3" away just itching to lend a paw.

I removed two small screws located on the underside of the control panel. I then rotated the bottom of the control panel up and dislodged the few connections at top back of control panel. The control panel became loose enough to lay forward exposing the inner control switches. The old problem switch wiring was removed one by one and placed in the same spot on the new switch. The old switch was then removed by pulling off the front control knob and then unscrewing two screws holding the old switch in place. Then the new switch was installed exactly as the old switch was removed.

Cut Wires to old terminal block and wired in new Terminal Block

i slid the oven out unplugged it !! , removed back cover with a nut driver, removed the two retaining nuts from the old bake element ,opened oven door removed two nuts that hold bake element to the back of the oven , installed new bake element then attached wires in the back of oven to the new element re installed retaining screws inside oven , check to make sure screws that hold power cord wires to the over are TIGHT !! i then installed rear cover then plugged in the oven it worked great !!

Basically very easy. Be sure to follow suggested safe practices - DO shut off the circuit breaker to the unit BEFORE starting (I didn't to start with, shorted out the heater leads - dumb on my part). Just removed the burned out element by removing the 2 screws using a nutdriver, pulled the element out, and slipped off the crimp fittings. Reverse steps to install replacement. The crimp fittings were stubborn coming off the old one, so it took longer than expected. Otherwise, easy peasy.
