Shut of circuit breaker. Removed two screws with socket set . pulled element out about three inches, disconnected and held wires in place with clip type closepins. pressed connections onto new element , secured screws and presto... All too simple and in less then 15 minutes.

first husband removed the bolts unplugged old element wires -plugged in new element wires and but in bolts - unfortunately the oven still doesn't work not sure if element is bad or wiring, need professional help

Replacement of the heating element only takes a few minutes...First, turn off the breaker/fuse to the stove, then just remove two screws , pull out the two connected wires to expose the connections, hook them up, and replace the screws to the cover plate. The connection/cover plate can be hinged or not hinged. Make sure you order the correct one. We ordered the wrong one at first, but were assisted by the returns dept. and received the correct one in 2 days. Great customer service, thanks partsselect.com!!

Removed the two screws, pulled out old element, installed new element, and reinstalled screws.

Flipped off the circuit breaker first. Unscrewed the two screws holding the element in place. Pulled out about 4-5 inches. Tried several times to pull apart the connections, finally got 'em - don't give up (I must have weak fingers). Then plugged in the new element, shoved the wires back in, screwed it back in place, flipped circuit breaker back on, turned the oven on.... made brownies (o:

At first thought I was taking out some insulation but. "Clamp" just slid off and was very easy to install! Finding the right size socket took longer than the repair!

Cut Wires to old terminal block and wired in new Terminal Block

First unplugged it. Then removed everything in side for easy access. Took screws out 2 of them. Had to pull to removed elemnet . That took a while. Should have tried removing other screws or at less loosen them. It went in easy. And lift off we had red burner. hey..

Removed two screws and removed the oven elelent. One wire was not through the back of the stove. Ordered new element anyway. Slid stove out (slide-in model). Unplugged power. Removed two covers protecting wires on back of stove. Found wire for oven element. Had to cut and strip end of wire and use new blade clip. Crimped new clip to wire and inserted into oven through back of stove. Replaced covers. Plugged oven element to wires and tried out oven. WORKED ! Saved new oven element for next time. Difficulty encounted was lack of knowledge on where stove was screwed into counter-top and what size blade clip to buy. It always helps to have a dog 3" away just itching to lend a paw.

Followed the excellent removal and installation video by PartSelect. Also the diagram was excellent allowing me to purchase the correct hinge the first time. Fast shipping.

Turn off power at the circuit breaker before working on electric thing.

Removed oven door and shelves for free access to element. Unscrewed the old element, pulled it out, removed the clips and removed the element. Reversed these steps to install the new element. Tested the element to ensure it worked.

1)Unscrewed old baking element from wall of oven
2)Detached old baking element from wires
3)Attached new baking element to wires
4)Screwed new baking element to wall of oven
5)Turned on oven

The repair went surprisingly well! My only problem was the bottom screws needed WD40 to loosen, but otherwise the parts went in easily.

Basically very easy. Be sure to follow suggested safe practices - DO shut off the circuit breaker to the unit BEFORE starting (I didn't to start with, shorted out the heater leads - dumb on my part). Just removed the burned out element by removing the 2 screws using a nutdriver, pulled the element out, and slipped off the crimp fittings. Reverse steps to install replacement. The crimp fittings were stubborn coming off the old one, so it took longer than expected. Otherwise, easy peasy.
