no problem just wanted new oven racks
take the old ones out and slide the new ones in ordered around 2 in the afternoon and they were delivered to my front door around the same time the next day very pleased with service and the racks. I just wish I could get parts for my Jenn-Air cooktop which is 20 years old maybe somewhere someday.

Failed Broiler element
Removed back of stove - 4 screws on top, 3 underneath. Unplugged wires from element. Removed element - 2 screws in front and 2 in the back. Installed new element, plugged wires back in, reinstalled back panel.

surface burner failure
Lifted the range top about 2 1/2 inches, removed the ceramic top and replaced the burner. Tested the burner before replacing the top. Everything worked fine.

Replace the oven door seal and oven window
For those with an older Jenn-Air, this range has stood up under the test of time and is still in good condition. We even called Jenn-Air for the parts and they no longer carry the oven door seal for this make. Thank you PartSelect for carrying the seal. We did call in a repair man and are glad we did as taking apart the door was quite involved. We were very blessed to locate a repair man who did Jenn-Air and are very pleased with the repair.

Needed to replace a burner switch for an inspection
I removed the cover plate for the burner switches and verified the wiring on the other switches. I had removed the bad switch a few years ago and I needed to make sure that the wiring was correct. I did not keep the original screws that hold the switch in place, because I destroyed them when I first removed the old switch. The were corroded from years of cleaning solution. I made new screws from longer wall socket screws by shortening them with a hacksaw. The entire process took about 30 minutes to do, and the results were good. The new switch is smoother than the others, but functions exactly the same.

The front left side burner was broken.
We lifted the glass top, uninstalled the old burner and installed the new burner in it's place. It worked right away - and is still working. No other tricks the new burner was a perfect fit.

Rear butner no longer worked after liquid was spilled on range.
Just followed the instructions on this site... :) Unscrewed the front, removed old unit taking care of which wires went where, put in new unit. Voila.

Burner was very hot regardless of setting
