Oven door handle had broken off plastic door trim
Thanks to a previous poster who confirmed the need to remove ALL the screws around the door frame. I had removed the door (by opening it slightly and pulling it up off the hinges) then removed the screws all the way around the outside of the door. Once I could separate the front of the door from the back, I removed the remaining screws securing the plastic trim to the top of the door. While waiting for the part to arrive, I cleaned the interior of the door. The part fit exactly and the replacement was easy after attaching the handle to the front of the trim...with one small problem. Two of the screw holes along the top of the door were too large for the factory screws. I still have to make a hardware run and pick up slightly larger sheet metal screws with pan heads and some white touch-up paint. Then we'll be good to go!

Oven not heating to desired temp
Had to remove oven from mounting cabinet to get to the back since the wire lenght to the conector was to short to come through the mounting hole.
Other than that the repair was straight forward. 4 screws to dismount the Oven from cabinet, 2 screws to remove Sensor and 3 srews to open the back of the oven once out in the open. New cable adapter that came with the new sensor was needed in my case.

Terminal block arc'ed because a wire had become loose.
Ordered and received the terminal block. Installed it along with a new 220V power cord and the appropriate insulator . Ensured the terminals were tight with a nut driver. Reinstalled cover. Then, using the control panel, I did a function check on all the heating elements, clock, oven light, to satisfy all operational requirements. All checked good! And, I was relieved that the control panel had not been shorted out as the terminal block was due to a loose connection. Easy fix.

My baking element broke. Over wouldnt heat.
I ordered the part and it came in within 2 days from fedex! Great timing. It took me all of 10 minutes to fix the coil at the bottom of the oven. Fixed the problem and had plenty of time to cook dinner before my husband came home!!
GREAT SERVICE AT THIS SITE! They knew the right part! And the instructions are very simple.

Thank you

Old bake element burned up
First I shut off the oven breaker, then I removed the racks and the oven door. I next removed the two retaining screws holding the element in place. I gently pulled the element forward to expose the blade connection. I disconnected the old element, attached the new element, slid it back into place and replaced the retaining screws. I remounted the door and turned the power back on. I did a test run on the oven. It worked perfectly.

bake element was not getting hot
repair was easy- turned off power at electrical box, emptied out the wire shelves in the oven. Unscrewed two fasteners holding element in place, pulled element out about 3 inches, unplugged electrical end connectors.
Then got new part, attached two electrical connectors, slid back in place, fastened with two screws, turned power on and we're baking. I believe this part would be covered under my warranty- but we were having a party that weekend and I could not wait for the repair guy to do this on his schedule, plus his labor alone would have cost much more than my part and next day delivery.

Lower bake element burned out.
First off, I ordered the part to be delivered 2-3 business days. I ordered this online on Sunday, so I figured it wouldn't show up until at the earliest on Thursday. We got it on Tuesday. Fantastic. Once I got it I pulled the range out and unplugged it. Next I removed the two screws holding the old element in place with a phillips screw driver. Pulling the old element out carefully I removed the two wires from either end. Next I attached the wired to the new element and screwed in place. Fast and easy! Plugged the range back in and we were cooking.

The top trim piece broke during a move and cleaning effort.
Identified the parts through the diagram from the web page, verified th parts needed to accomplish this repair. Ordered the parts needed, then researched the Maytag parts web site, along with another parts web site to verify the price and that the correct parts were being purchased. completed the parts order from a cheaper source and received the parts in two days. Broken piece was removed and the new part insalled within 25 minutes, the oven is operating normally and looks like a new unit.

Very easy to repair, but you have to be able to pull your stove out. Two screws in the oven and then remove part of back cover of oven and one plug from there. Simple to do, but did not fix our problem. We are waiting repair now from service company as it looks like it needs a control panel. Worth trying yourself to fix the problem. Inexpensive part and easy to install. Also be sure to turn power off your oven to reset the control panel as this may fix the problem - try this first and also after installing new part - like rebooting a computer...
