Old trim rings were rusted and soiled
Too easy to describe. Just lifted out the old rings and popped in the new ones. Old drip bowls and trim rings badly stained and dirty

I needed new trim rings around the stove burners
I logged into GE's website, put in my stovetop's requirements for size and type of trim rings, and was taken to partselect's site where I found what I needed. I ordered it and it came in less than a week!

instructions could be better
it was hard to figure out the instructions from A switch to B switch to my switch. The first switch was no good the second one was good. prayer book didn't hurt.thank

burner pilot light out
Replaced neon light and jewel plastic. Had difficulty installing the neon lamp unit on the existing clip but other than that the repair was uneventful. The parts furnished were the exact parts needed!

replace a burned out calrod unit
Simply unplugged the burned out one and plugged in the new one. It worked like a charm.

Condo Had Very Old Drop In. Threw Away Drip Pans And Rings
Placed new ones on range. Exactly what I would do to wash them.

Shaft for burner control knob broke off
I flipped breaker off for electic and confirmed that power to the stove was off. I removed the 2 screws holding the control unit in place. Carefully removed all knobs and buttons and pryed the cover for the control unit off. I then removed old part, removed the wired and clipped wires to the new unit. Put cover back on - has some difficulty getting the panel back in place to line up the screws. But after a couple of attempts, was able to line up unit and put screws in place to secure. Replaced all knobs. Turn breaker back on and cooked lunch. Very easy job. Most difficult part was getting panel back in position. I would watch alignment more carefully before I removed in next time. Easy home repair for Women...not sure about my man?

burned out broiler element
opened back of stove after removing 2 inside screws and attached new element....1 tough screw inside...no prblem

Put bowl in and then slid rings around. Just like cleaning procedure. Easy. Thanks for your service.

Range purchased in 1989. Broiler Element Support Broke.
Removed 2 sheet metal screws. Threw away old part. Replaced with new part secured with the same old sheet metal screws. Works perfectly. Actually it took longer to type this response. I was very pleased with Part Select. If I need another part you'll be hearing from me.
