Burner stopped working. Replaced burner & block.
We read comments by other DIYers and then looked at the video on YouTube. Our range is old and the screw holding the clamp for the block was too tight to remove so we removed the block from the old clamp and left clamp intact. Turned the circuit breaker off. Cut the existing wires and wired the new block to them. Put the block back into the old clamp, put new surface burner in and good as new. My boyfriend and I did it together but I could have done it myself - it was that simple. Thanks PartSelect for quick delivery and excellent DIY info.

Ordered the drip pan from ParSelect.com. Unplugged element and took out old pan. Placed new pan in and replaced element. For the first time in many years, the part fit.

One of the springs on the oven door broke.
We ordered the parts from PartSelect. They shipped it right away, we had it in less than a week. The repair was very easy. It is a drop in oven. My son fixed it. He did not even have to take the oven out of the cabinets, he just took the oven door and some of the trim off and replaced the springs (we went ahead and replaced both, since we assumed the other spring would be weakened from having to take the full load of holding the door.
