RB755GT3AD Hotpoint Range - Instructions

first removed the two screws,pulled the element out ,disconnected the wires, pulled it out , cleaned the oven and then reversed the process. could not have been easier for a do it yourself homeowner on a budget.

I had grease on the baking element when I turned the oven on. I thought it would burn off, it caught fire and destroyed the baking element. I ordered a new element, it came within two days. I didn't wait for my husband to come home. I got a screw driver, took off the screw, used pliers to pull apart the old baking element from the wires. I did this carefully , our oven is old and the element was not pulling away easily. I inserted the new element, put the screws in and it worked perfectly! I was very proud of myself but the truth is that this is a simple job.

I removed the 2 nuts and pulled the element out until I reached the disconnect and unhooked the elements from the wire. Replaced the new one in reverse order. It was great finding the part here after Sears said they no longer made the part.

It was real easy all I had to do was turn the breaker off,Undo two srews and disconnect the two wires. Then repeated the process to install

Removed oven door & shelves. Removed the 2 mounting screws & compared parts to verify I ordered the right one, then plugged it right in! Managed to drop & lose one of the screws while re-installing them. Got a stainless sheet metal screw from the hardware store that fits, but will probably order an exact replacement because the size & thread are slightly different. All in all, other than losing the screw, it was a quick, easy task.

shut power off to range, took 2 screws out, took 2 snap on clips off old element. put snap on clips on new element, put 2 screws back in, and turned breaker on.

Remove the oven racks, remove the two retaining screws, unplugged the wires. Install wires on new bake element, insert element into opening, install & tighten retaining screws, replace oven rack's & there you have it.

I've been looking for an 8" replacement burner for my GE stove after my original burner caught on fire over a year ago. I had all but given up on finding a replacement after searching at all the stores in my area and also searching on the net. First - really check that the part you order will fit. Our oven is 30 years old and the first part we ordered was not correct, but it came the very next day after we ordered it which is amazing. We were more careful about measuring for the second one and it came almost as quickly. It only took a few seconds to unscrew the old element and then reattach the wires to the new one and screw it back into the oven. Very simple. I highly recommend PartSelect.

Two screws hold the element to the oven wall. two wires attached to the back of the element. very simple removal and replacement.

unscrewed it unhooked the wires and replaced with new part

Removed the old and slipped in the new.No problem and it works fine.

I watched the video on the website then installed the part. In fact, I watched the video twice because I could not believe it was that easy. You can not do any better than PartSelect.
