Just replaced drip pans and rings on stove

Removed the panel screws that hold the bake element to the back of the stove. Then I disconnected the old element from the wires. Attached the new element using the provided screws. Reattached the old panel screws to hold the new bake element in place. Works great.

The new bake element doesn't have an item number on it, so I kept the old element in a cabinet someplace in case I have to replace this one again some day. I've lost the model number for my very old GE wall oven, so without that item number I'll be in trouble.

Super easy, 1 2 3 steps and your done. Make sure to turn power off, remove two screws off of back plate. Remove two screws on wire connectors. Throw old element away and connect both wires to new element and screw back into place. Turn power back on and start cooking.

My husband did the repair in about 15 minutes. It was apparently self explanatory and required no directions. Take the old one out and replace it the same way it came out. And viola!!, the oven works like new - all for about $33. Thanks

The repair seemed very easy, even before I attempted it. When I recieved my part it was very obvoius that this was my problem part. The old element was worn out(21 yrs old). Having Thanksgiving around the corner, my wife was happy we had a fix to our not ready to replace oven. First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires. Installed the new element reversing the process above

The installation process was just as easy as the removal. Approx 10 minutes and I was cooking. BTW, the heating element was at my house the next day after ordering. Great service

After receiving parts, was getting rims unpackaged and removing the old rims, then and installing the new ones. Extremely easy to do. No tools needed

Took the broken heating element out of oven. Replaced with new one; which was easy to do.

Purchased the element from Partselect online -delivery was great -installed the new element in less than 10 minutes - the stove is now 100% again

First I turned the circuit breaker off, then I removed the two screws with a nut driver, that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires with a straight scewdriver.

Reversed the the above process to install new element.

Oven was 27 years old.

Repaired and operational in less than 15 min.

Opened Breaker box
Threw oven switch
Removed two screws on element plate
Pulled element out 3 inch and removed two screws holding wires.
Ordered element on Tue.
Received element on Thur.
Reconnected screws on wires and plate
Threw oven breaker
Baked a cake
